Good morning from Cadiz in Spain, we are slowly cruising back to Southampton, a day at sea tomorrow then a day in Vigo, then home to Southampton on Friday.

The cruise has been fabulous with lots of good food and hot sunny weather, just nice to set us up for winter.

Here’s a shot of the beach at Playa Blanca in Lanzarote.

I’ve just earned a “getting warm” badge, what does that mean, anyone know?

Should be a “getting colder” badge as we head back to Blighty.

Great to hear you have had a lovely holiday @Fan of Big Tone now time to revert back to reality and face and embrace the weather, rain forecast for Friday I'm afraid. May the memories you have made stay with you and be a comfort for ever and a day. 🥳

I am away in Alicante in Spain. It is a very popular place for my family as my parents moved close to the historic town in 2019. I do find the mobile data a bit unreliable. I can reach sites like BBC News, but I struggle to load forums such as PON and Facebook.

It has been a very pleasant trip. A calm and quiet week before we return home for Halloween.

If you have any problems or concerns, feel free to send me a private message (PM). Always happy to help!
Please note: I’ll do my best to help, but some issues may need passing on.

Enjoy the rest of your trip @Fan of Big Tone! You're coming back at just the right time though in my opinion - the nights are getting darker and there's a bite in the air. You can't beat this time of year.

I've been a bit elusive yesterday as I haven't been well; a few weeks ago my mouth swelled up and I was sporting the full botox look for a few days. The Hollywood lips are more or less gone now but I still don't know what caused it.

At the weekend I'd recovered enough to go to a concert, the German pagan folk band Faun in Offenbach near Frankfurt. Their songs are based on folklore and some are even in English (albeit not always modern English). Give them a listen if you fancy something different!

Hope you're back to your normal self now @DangerousSausage Good luck.
