What would your starting line-up be? What will be the key areas for the Magpies to get a victory? What do you think the final score will be?

Put correct kick off as 12.30

Good morning all,

We've taken some heavy blows, but it's a great opportunity to go back to what we did at Accrington. I hope MP remains super positive and there's no hint of using the injuries and the suspensions as an excuse. He's lost the extra insurance options he tends to edge towards (mistakes anyway, IMO) - extra height, an extra CM pivot, more experience/nastiness...

None of those help the football you play...you can still try to do what you practiced all year on the training ground, pass and move, create overloads, continue the better final 1/3 execution we've seen recently, key passes for assists, cool and accurate finishing.

Dunno about the team, but it could be something like...

Belshaw

Macari, Bedeau, Bennetts,

Tsaroulla, Palmer, Iorpenda, Jones

Grant, Dennis

Jatta

No problem at all with Ness though. He's at least as good a passer as Platt (but not as nice as McDonald). If the focus is on playing positively and fluently, as it always should be IMO, then we'll be OK in games like this.

The Harrogate match is a must win match. Notts have to reverse the inconsistency trend that they have demonstrated over the last 8 matches, losing four & winning 4

I think Notts have to win 6 of their last 7 matches including defeating Cambridge to have any chance of automatic promotion.

With half dozen senior players such as Norburn, Kouhyar, Hall, Platt, Robertson, & McDonald missing for this match, it's going to be tough for Notts to get a positive result

It's time for senior players like Palmer, Bedeau, Jones, Tsaroulla & Jatta to step up & take on leading roles on Saturday & show us what they are made of.

I would hope for a strong performance, which rewards the fans in attendance and gives us at home a sign that we are still very much amongst the automatic challenge. I do worry that a defeat could lead to disappointment and a bit of hope lost. Barrow outplayed us earlier in the season at their end, a game we never looked like scoring until Matthew Dennis did, then we collapsed straight after like a pack of cards.

Harrogate are a better team, I thought they would do much better from what I saw at the beginning but they have plummited. Still, as always, you can't under estimate them. I would love to suggest it would be easy, but I think for a strong performance by us Martin Paterson may need to make changes.

Would it be worth starting the game with a back 4, just to give us some stability to attack and not concede an early goal?

It's going to be interesting to see the selection and how it will unfold, but I would make changes based on Oldham. Tom Iorpenda looked tired, while Jodi Jones appeared to be a casual bystander. Perhaps some fresh legs would be helpful.

A field where dreams become reality.

No withstanding the injuries, tiredness is now becoming a factor. This is now where we see the real character of the squad. When your backs are against the wall what fight do we have. Win the next two games and automatic is still on. Anything less and it's pay-offs at best. COYP we can do this!

Don’t forget everyone that this is a 12.30 kick off not 3.00pm as in the original post, I’ve edited it now.

I’ll be watching on Sky Sports, safe travels to our fans and let’s hope we get the points in the bag.

COME ON YOU PIES!

Interesting team selected just now...

Tsaroulla out with an injury...he might've needed the rest anyway. It's a team that should have a lot of attacking potency.

Jatta, Dennis, Jones, Tangan, Iorpenda, with lots of good ball-players behind and around them. And a very attacking bench. Really looking forward to it now.

Only three senior players on the bench. The starting eleven looks to be attacking minded. I'm more concerned about our defence. Can they remain solid? Concerned that it looks like Tsaroulla is injured. This is it. Notts have to win today. COYP!!!

Two strikers is something that I think most of us prefer to see from Notts away from home, especially when we need to start picking up more points than we have done compared to recent games. It's a shame Nick Tsaroulla is out injured, he's been quality this season and the exposure to more game time has seen him really nail that posiiton but the squad should be more than capable of doing well.

Defensively, we do have concerns but I am sure if we can keep Lucas Ness fit he'll come in well.

Despite tough conditions, our technical players have been great - Palmer, Iorpenda, Macari, Tangan (pity he had to go off)

We've played some lovely stuff. Let's hope we can get some more goals with the wind behind us in the 2nd half.

Another injury. Hope Tangen is alright. Notts need to use the wind to their advantage in the 2nd half. Harrogate are a danger. Notts need an early 2nd goal to calm the nerves.

(50) Big penalty appeals for Bennetts who appears to be brought down after dinking a cross into the box - but the ref says no.

Harrogate are playing a little dirty, some of their late challenges have had me holding my own limbs. I defitley think Keanan Bennetts should have won us a penalty, the Town player made no ball contact and took him out. It doesn't matter if he got the cross in, he was taken out.

I would feel happier if we had a second goal.
