Kids make me laugh when they are trying to do April Fools jokes.

Our grandson George hasn't quite got the hang of the fact that it has to be at least partly believable.

Here are a few examples of his today:

"Grandad a plane has just landed in the garden"

"Grandad you've got your shoes on in the house" - we only allow slippers.

"Granny look out there's a big spider on your head"

Of course we had to pretend to be fooled by his tricks. :lol:

What April Fools joke did your kids/grandkids play on you today?

No April fools jokes from Harry but we get told that spiders,crocodiles and various monsters are coming after super or me quite a lot. I bet George had you and Mrs H


laughing a lot and finding it difficult not to laugh at the wrong time.

Our children are a little uninterested, I don't prank them but a few years ago I woke both Ellie & Jake up. I then started to encourage them to get ready, as if we had a big day ahead and they was confused. I told them that we was going on holiday and Jake was like 'oh yeah' and Ellie said something like 'but I don't want to go'. After they got dressed and came down, I told them it was an April fools.

Jake became annoyed, Ellie told me she hated me.

Both stormed back off to their bedrooms and cheeky told me off.

No April fool jokes but as Granny says plenty of spiders etc.There's a giant lives in a tree in our garden and snakes and creepy insects hiding under rocks.All the grandkids creep behind my chair and try to make me jump by poking me or tickling with some object.I'm usually prepared because they give themselves away by giggling so I have to pretend not to notice
