I mean, I get it. To play in a Paterson team, we have to be hard, physical and well drilled. But at the same time we're getting decimated from injuries during training. Jatta and Jones had sizeable chunks out of last season, and now Sanders, Acquah and Campbell are all out via training injuries with two games gone... feels like we can do something more with physio's or match conditioners. I'm sure we already have these at the club, but when they made a big song and dance about Dr Rhodes joining and then he left, we've not heard to much about that side of it at the club.

You make some good points there @piedestrian When you look at all those positions where those injured players play, just add a goalie and another player and you have a decent starting eleven there. It just demonstrates the seriousness of the situation finding themselves in.

Injuries in training are baffling. Yes, they can happen occasionally - but not on the scale & severity that we seem to accomplish.

That, as mentioned, is a half decent starting team with a keeper added. Fortunately, we have, just about, enough depth to cover the gaps at the moment. I’d like to see Sanders, Campbell, Acquah back asap, closely followed by McDonald.

Genuinely don’t believe we are missing any of the others at the moment tbh. Baker not making the starting XI & having, particularly, Mustapha, Grant & Samuels-Smith on the bench suggests that we are ok defensively & in midfield. We are desperate for a striker, first choice or cover, that is for absolute certain.

Rumour is Robbo now injured.

Will update if the rumour is true. Probably won't get to know until the team is announced.

From the post-match interview after Luton Martin pretty much confirmed Acquah is months not weeks, another freak injury in training which isn't a first for us. No idea about Dean Campbell or Matt Palmer, we've been pretty vague about them which makes me think they are hopefully more short-term. I think Rod and Beck-Ray should be back soon(ish) though, so hopefully that long-list will become a short one.

We haven't had much luck so far, but we need to make sure that these injuries don't cause any setbacks. I didn't believe that Jodi Jones wanted out or would be moving away, but since my thoughts that the club were hiding an injury. I am starting to feel like there could be something in the rumours; perhaps he's seeking a new deal and Jatta's agent has set a scary precedent that if one isn't reached, they will seek a move elsewhere.

Bromley, for example, despite being in London, makes little sense to me, so I hope it is an injury keeping him out.

We have a lot of good players out injured, so I hope we don't fall back on further loans to help bridge the gap.

Platt was sat behind me in Pavis yesterday and looks to be in good condition. From what I understand he's in rehabilitation training now which is nearish the end of his injury process.
