Would be a very good signing if Notts could pull it off.

Looks a good fit; Charlton probably want to see him out on loan for another year to see if he can continue his progression rather than sell him (rumours of offers).

18 goals for Walsall, numerous awards last year - sign him tonight ready for tomorrow )

Get this one done please! Strikers are so hard to come by, EFL2 Young Player of the Season is as near to "proven" as Notts are going to get with their model and budget so would be great if it happened.

I hope this one is true! A promising young player on the way up who knows where the net is. I remember him being a right pain when we played Walsall last season as well. Would be happy with this.

Yes, looks to be exactly what we need.

The jury's out on Luca Smyth, maybe tomorrow will point to an answer. The rumoured player Kanu looks to be on a steep improvement curve and the Walsall form could translate to L1. We absolutely need more goal threat, we can't play months with Smyth + Ndlovu as the only options

Very good prospect, really like the vibe of a rapid, nimble, athletic striker. Contract expires next summer, so maybe there's potential there for a big Jan signing full of incentives if he performs well.

Talking of athletic strikers, Iwunze does fit the bill of someone if personally give a chance to if this fails.

I hope they get this one sorted he sounds ideal.

I don't think he would want to come and sit on the bench, so that is a positive for me. He's a good prospect, who only has a year remaining on his current deal, I believe, and he looks to be the Lucas Ness/Lewis Macari type of player we bring in with the mindset of potentially striking a more permanent deal.

He did well for Walsall and is quite quick, so he would offer us something different during our injury concerns and worries over Luka Smyths match fitness.

I don't think he seems to be falling out of favour with Charlton as they stick him out on loan. I don't think it's them wanting to prove him, but rather not doing anything and releasing some of the wages. This is just my opinion, but I think League One is the level at which you want a player like Dan Kanu to be tested. This is why I felt surprised that he actually went to Walsall, who are a decent team but very Jekyll and Hyde.

There is a big rumour that he'll be signed by Notts in the next 24 hours. I won't believe it's true until we get an official announcement.
