Nathan Tyson?

Featured Replies

I'd rather have Izzy McLeod who has been released by MK Dons. I doubt we could afford both? McLeod will score goals, not sure Tyson would.

Tyson is risky imo. Fast and looks like he wants to try, but because we didn't give him (understandably) a run of games, he is still an unknown quantity to us fans anyway. Injuries etc... mean he may not play alot. Maybe a pay as you play, but would he go for that?

We do need another striker to help out when the inevitable loss of form or injury hits, but we have more pressing areas to work on imo. Waite can step up if needed.

I'm going to throw this out there...

Tyson came to us when we had very limited options upfront, I was never a real fan of Haber but I liked his effort. Though Haber for me, he's like Showunmi but hes better technically. Tyson offered exactly what Haber did, however a lot more and perhaps with confidence he could be the goal scorer we need. The fact at his age, he's still faster than a 20 year old. For me, this is a good sign and well worth the risk of signing him.

The Tyson signing for me had a large impact and it was a sign of significant change for me.

We finally had a striker who'd run his heart out, put himself about and try, try, try. His trickyness and pace, ultimately made him dangerous at this level. It was clear he was a striker we had been missing and although after a couple of bad challenges on him, he never really got the form return. He was still a very useful player and one I would like to see in our squad. I don't believe we can sign many with his skill or experience, he might not be Messi or Ronaldo but at this level as a rotational player, he could very well be the asset we need again.

I'd sign him.
