Starting a collection...

Featured Replies

Just noticed this in the red rag and with us all getting in the Christmas spirit, I thought we should start a collection for @PTID1862

I'll start off by chucking in £1.

Any more offers?

I saw The Flying Scotsman on Derby station after a match many years ago.Marvelous site.

Definitely something to be said for the good old days. We took our two on the Santa Special out at Ruddington a few years back and they couldn't believe they were on a real steam train.

A bit different to the mock up Thomas one at Drayton Manor which pulls you from one end to the other. (No offence @PTID1862 !!!)

I'll join in, I'll even throw in a polar express ticket.

I bet the little @PTID1862 is ever so excited now, the polar express is all about making dreams happen.

A field where dreams become reality.

Surely mr @super_ram could sell some of his deep heat overstock to help with the xmas fundraising

Both @GrannyPie and myself are feeling a bit under the weather at the moment. We could both do with a bit more than deep heat.I'll volunteer to be the wheeltapper.I can borrow granny's walking sticks.

Hope you both feel better soon. I think a whole week looking after the grandkids is in order to perk you both up! I'm sure @notts-joe would agree!!!
