Magpies secure Blyth services

<!--url{0}-->Notts County have completed the signing of Leicester City striker Jacob Blyth on a one-month loan deal.

The 20-year-old is the second player to arrive at Meadow Lane under the reign of caretaker boss Chris Kiwomya after Manchester United forward John Cofie joined last week.

Blyth is yet to make a senior appearance for the Foxes since joining from non-league Leamington in May last year.

He has already had a spell with League Two side Burton this season where he made two substitute appearances.

You've got to love how lazy the BBC can be.

Not familiar with him but wish him well regardless, some nice comments on Facebook about him so we'll see. I misread it and thought that I was reading about Ben LOL I need glasses. :P

Strange one this. He has not yet had a first team run out for Leicester. Although he has had a couple of games on loan at Burton. Someone must see something in him otherwise I would have thought we would give our own youngsters a run out (Waite and Nangle).

Got to trust the club decision. Hopefully we will see him play some part at Walsall on Saturday.

He looks pretty confident in the pictures I've seen of him, Notts Media Team uploading pictures of him training and a video on the magpie player and he looks a very decent prospect. League experience isn't everything, neither are stats to be fair. They give a good idea about a player but coaching staff can change the games and inspire players.

I hope Chris gets the best out of him but also our younger lads coming through.
