In his latest message to the fans, Shaun says we have had plenty to cheer about at Notts County at the moment. He says the players that have come in have added a spark to the squad.

Regarding this weekend he thinks that although Peterborough are on a bad run of form at the moment it will be a hard task and the position they are in belies the talent they have in the squad.

He also says that they are still looking for players to strengthen the squad and with the fantastic backing they have had from the board he is confident that if he identifies someone he needs he will be allowed to bring them in.

All sounds good, what do you think.

All is merry at the moment and what a fantastic job they all have done. The signings are useful, I hope we can sign a DM and a CB but supposedly it will only be one or the other.

Pleased to read the new lads add that spark.

Just to play devil's advocate, if the backing from the board is so good, why are most of the signings loanees? Surely for long term success it should be permanent signings?

They aren't all loanees though are they? The Hungarian bloke (I really must learn to spell his name) is on a permanent deal and I think at least one of the others are too.

Loanees could very well get us promoted. Then the fun will really begin!

Give it a go.....

It is a belief of mine that the other season when we went for it, losing out on GD to Stevenage, that Mr Trew went for it then, allowed some serious loan signings in an attempt to push on and achieve the possibility of promotion.

we suffered after that, I think it may have taken finances away from the following season, there was certainly the missing out hangover around the club IMO.

I honestly believe we have a management pairing now and sufficient experience at the club coaching and player wise that we could dust ourselves off better if it doesn't happen.

so, Let's go for it, as fans too, really try and push the side on
