Surely following yesterdays game against Crystal Palace, Nigel Pearson can expect an FA charge of misconduct or bringing the game into disrepute... or both

I watched it in MoTD and it was bizarre, the player clearly clattered into him by accident but Pearson completely lost it and appeared to grab him by the throat whilst kneeling on him, then he kept hold of his shirt and wouldn't let him rejoin play until the 4th official intervened. Most strange and there didn't seem to be any provocation for his actions, in fact the player stayed very calm in the circumstances. I think Pearson should be punished in some way.

I saw this on MoTD too.I thought the player did well not to respond to Pearson who seemed a bit 'detatched' in the post match interview.Very strange as his actions were totally unnecessary..

He's been sacked now, I don't think he should have been sacked. He's the type of manager who would have got them straight back up, they're being really fussy and I think a lot of his actions are being caused by pressure from the club.

I don't like seeing managers fired without a good reason, being bottom of the Premiership isn't one.

They aren't anywhere near the class required to stay up but they have done well, at one stage I felt they could do it at a team but not even Jose or Fergie could do it.

It was all a bit strange, I can't help but think there may have been some history between them? You could tell in his eyes that the red mist had descended, even post match, so he definitely had some angst there.

Leicester statement says he is still manager...

Smoke, fire? The sacking reports appear to be premature.I don't think he should be sacked but he needs to curb his actions.

From what I've been told he's been given a warning, I don't know. Everywhere reported he had been sacked, then all of a sudden the majority of sources are gone! Yet you can still see them on Twitter :P
