In the chairmans notes in the programme Ray Trew has restated his commitment to the club in the future. No doubt his notes will be published on this site later on by Joe.

This is good news the alternative doesn't bear thinking about.

I hope his commitment is sincere and not similar to the dreaded vote of confidence.

I was sat near the main gates on the wall around the tree, Mr Trew, Jim Rodwell and 2 other smartly dressed males passed. Mr Trew was smoking, I was temped to say hello but he looked pretty stressed. I'm glad he's made these comments, rumours doing the rounds say he wants out. I couldn't blame him but apart of Notts is now the Trews and they make us more a family by their kindness.

That's something which has passed around the ground, the fans who truly want to make a difference.

Respect them all!

Good comments from Ray, mind you I wonder what he was thinking after the Preston game?

@2piesonmyshirt

'I'll reconsider quitting smoking now?'.. In all seriousness, Mr Trew will know what needs to be done and it's a case of doing it. The question is now 'when will that be?'... I sincerely hope attendances don't drop too much but I don't see how this isn't going to be the case.

It won't be the last time Liam, I'm not sure what he needs to do which he hasn't already done.

I was going to say something along those lines, i don't think hes just going to leave... but why bring it up sooo much if hes not even thought about it.
