If that is a sign of how Moniz will have us playing, then we are in for one heck of a ride...

People said to me the best performance of the season... I was impressed, how different...

I like JS and BB together... every defence will know they have been in a game with them.. they need to improve their understanding.. but that will come... I can see only 1 member of that starting midfield being in the club next year... Noble, but with C Thompson looking ready to step in... we need two genuine wide players..the defence looked solid for 45 minutes... in the second half they allowed Doncaster to run at them and cause problems...Roy Carroll pulled off 1 outstanding save... and will still be able to wear the #1 shirt next season... great ball to Burke in the build up to first goal.

I like the pressing game... using the flanks.. confidence on the ball...

So Doncaster were in Marbella... who cares, we did what we had to. We also did it with a little swagger and with some style IMO

By far the best we've seen for a long time at the lane. Looked good in patches. Looked very good in other patches. Understandably slackened off during bits, but we are realistically a bottom 5 club so that was to be expected. As @PTID1862 says, with Moniz in charge then the future looks bright.

Good to see people smiling at the Lane today for a change.

@PTID1862 glad you made it down and enjoyed it.

@notts-joe you need a medal. I spotted where you were sitting at the front in the kop and you're forever clicking away! You need to take a break and celebrate with the rest of us! All in the name of PoN, the site is lucky to have you!

Very pleased with the result and performance and finally a partnership up front that could work. If only all of the results had gone our way 😜 Colchester could get a result against Swindon if Swindon play a weakened team. The best scenario on Sunday would be Notts win and send the fans delirious and then we find we didn't need to because everyone else lost!! 😆😆😆

Get in!

I always had the weird feeling that we'd win. Hearing the atmopshere on the radion made me really wish I was there. Gillingham will be a more difficult test.

It's not yet in our own hands though - Swindon made seven changes on Saturday and their manager has admitted that they're not taking their remaining games seriously. I can see Colchester winning there and moving above us. The bottom line is that we have got to win on Sunday - we would be extraordinarily lucky to stay up with anything else.

On a personal note, the final day is not going to be a lot of fun for me - I'll be stepping onto a plane with about 20 minutes to go ...

I wasn't feeling positive at all, however @super_pie predicted not only the correct score but he also said Liam Noble would score!

Before the game was good fun, myself and Jake helped to raise funds for the J&J Statue Fund. Jake loved it! He actually said at one point he would have a season ticket if it was like this but quickly reverted back to saying he didn't.

We played very well, yet I think there was two moments whereby we could have been punished before we had scored. That said it was a good game, very lively and end to end. When we scored, it was nice to see we kept pushing for a second and some of the football, very nicely worked! The crowd was epic, fans really up for the game and to be fair many have been during the less than impressive games.

I missed the penalty but thank god it happened so late in the game!

I kept getting score updates via @Cobby and his new watch lol.. The scores made it all the more special, as did Peterborough winning.

@hissingdwarf - I love capturing the fans celebrating. After our second goal one fan even grabbed me! The high fives are also random but funny! At least I'm not always on my phone these days. :P
