Keep hearing rumors that gary jones is to sign for non league southport town.hope it goes well for him up there.

He is a damn good pro, so providing he can stay fit, he will pay dividends for them

No disrespect to him, yet I am surprised he hasn't just retired. I mean, it's a credit to him that he wants to continue and has found a club (he deserve one) but I just feel at his age he could be thinking about the next step.

He would be a fantastic coach.

I think for someone like Gary (and it's also true of Hughsey) they just love playing football and want to play for as long as possible.

Good luck to Gary at Southport. He gave 100% last season unlike some of the players but it was the right decision not to renew his contract.

Yes, good luck to him. Its a shame it seems we just wrote him off and treated him in the manner reported.
