Me too @Dripsey3 both my parents lived into their 80s so there hope for me but mum had dementia I wouldn't want to live with that.

It's a wet bank holiday today so not much outdoor stuff can be done, so I'll probably be computer bound.

Hope the weather is better where you are, how is everyone spending their bank holiday?

After a mental weekend watching Waldhof win a local derby and going to a medieval festival, I need a bit of a rest. So a day sat on my bum working is just what the doctor ordered. Maybe I'll pluck up the courage to watch the "highlights" from Saturday, maybe I won't. Only seen our goal so far.

Spent the morning so far throwing away about 100 dvd's. Moving the collection to a pure digital collection on the computer using Plex as the media server. Makes for a bit more room in the tv cabinet without the dvds! (And if you work for Virgin...my connection is working fine and no I'm not connected via Dallas US and no im not using that ip cover to download my dvd collection. That would be naughty!)

I can never see the point of storing lots of DVD's, once I've seen a film I don't particularly want to see it again. I think I've got about 5 dvd's and they were bought for me.

A friend of ours has got literally thousands of DVD's, when he's finished watching a series on TV he waits till the DVD is out and goes and buys it..........WHY??!!

Four lovely hours in A+E... yippee.

Y?

@tonyhateley Most were bought for me over the years. I must confess to enjoying going back to excellent dramas a few years later. Example Breaking Bad box set or my Sopranos set or my West Wing set. They are there to be watched whenever I need reminding how good tv drama can be!
