McLeod turned him inside ready to shoot an there bloke cuthbert I believe clipped him as he was bout to curl it clear foul an snijders there was a push that reff was useless as for me if the reff gives the first disallowed goal he can overule the linesman

I think we are talking about a different incident.

the one we're snijders went thro an did two step overs an went down there was a push on him enough to to send him off balance any were else on the field it's a foul an if anyone think McLeod dived well I disagree the bloke is ready to curl his shot an gets caught that referee didn't have a clue another thing I noticed was the mackail smith incident off the ball when he got a talking to bet no one saw that and every time he was going up for headers a noticed him swinging his arm about but that ref was guessing on pure instinct if I went into my job an started guessing we're things go on pure instinct id be sacked so he should not ref again all those bookings we got were never bookings

Carroll - 6 - Not sure if he could have done better with the first, near post... maybe I'm being too harsh.

Amevor - 5.5 - Was decent in the first half, but tired a lot in the second. Is he fit? Noticeable lethargic in the second half and failed to close down their wingers enough - they were freely passing the ball into the box.
Swerts - 7 - Made a lot of crucial interceptions and his reading of the game is invaluable.
Hollis - 6.5 - Didn't notice him do much wrong and did all the basics right.
Audel - 6 - He looks very awkward, doesn't offer a huge amount going forward but certainly adds height. Didn't do much wrong.

Aborah - 8 - Glides about the pitch and is clearly a cut above. Twists and turns, used his body well.

Burke - 6 - Didn't notice him too much, but had a few neat touches.
Campbell - 6 - Wasn't overly involved, but could, and probably should have had a goal.
Snijders - 6 - As above, didn't see a lot of him, but he has a lot of pace and delivers a good cross.

Stead - 5 - Didn't have a good game for me. Far too many of his passes were going astray and at times his first touch was poor. Good player, bit of an off game.
McLeod - 8.5 - A menace all game and deserved his 2 goals, could have had more.

Noble - 7.5 - Quality FK
Jenner - 6.5 - Pinged the post, it's still rattling now.

Edwards - 6 - Steady.

Referee - 1 - Abysmal. Even discounting the penalty appeals/disallowed goals, some of his decisions were just absurd. When he blew his whistle for a foul, I think it was, and when Luton were still playing he just let it go. Another was a blatant hand-ball by one of Luton's players in our box, right in front of him. Blind, or stupid.

Luton - 7 - I think they will be fine this year. The main player to stand out for me was CMS. He looked a pain in the arse every time he got on the ball, we either double-teamed him or took a yellow. They took their 2 goals very well.

Atmosphere - 5 - When the whole kop starts singing, it sounds brilliant. Unfortunately, this only happens for about 30 seconds after a goal or after full-time when we win.  Atmosphere isn't helped by away fans being opposite side of the JS stand, I could hardly hear Luton all game apart from when they scored, but 1.5k+ away fans normally make a fair bit of noise, and I imagine they did, but I couldn't tell.

Ya thanks SDA. good insure into the game

Burke played much better than a 6, he was a real driving force against Luton.

Carroll is getting beaten a little too easily, the "defenders" needed to help does not rub off for me either. A man of his experience should know better but the performance was acceptable from the whole. At least we left with all the points having been secured!

I had this game down as a loss, so it came to me as a surprise to see we had won and after allowing them a way back into the game.

Its time we sorted this, if we are to improve and lift up the league. We must quit conceding or allowing team so easily in!

i almost asked if this would be the turning point within our season but it seems we will still have to wait for that. :(
