a friend said to me we are selling our keeper? noticed the odd comment on facebook but surely the club will not consider this. fabs fine but young, he needs to get experience and we need to avoid the drop. poor fab would need broad shoulders

this is not me getting at fabs, i am just worried

It was in the post mate, also can be found on the "This is Nottingham" site. Aka If we don't like you, we'll spin negative stories for your pleasure.

Yet it's more of a suggest if I recall correctly. Here

Just shows what happens, I would not sell him. I think just as there is with letting managers go, the risk of stability can also be seen with players flocking away in bulk. I have faith that Fabien can be a solid keeper for us, when he plays his confidence goes up and you can tell. His previous return he looked nervous and unlike himself, I think it shown and the defenders help him out last Saturday. As any learning player, you will make position faults but he makes it up with his fine saves and positive attitude. This could come across as something I don't intend, although I wouldn't risk throwing in him in goal as our number 1. I'd like to see him spend some time out on loan, if we can rely on Mitchell in-case Bart gets injured.

Another season, more experience and so on. I think he will become our number one and have the right mind frame to handle the comments which he probably heard at Hartlepool.

I hope we don't sell Bart but in a way I could understand if we did. We presumably would get a reasonable fee and that could be used to strengthen some of the outfield areas that need it, i.e. the forward line in particular.

Fab is a promising young goalkeeper who will do well at our level, I think given a run he could be our number one but perhaps not just yet.

Proud to be a Notts County Supporter for over 60 years.

I hope we don't sell him, i think i've heard it somewhere but hoping its just rumours. I know i've said it alot that i don't want players to leave, but selling the main ones would be just silly.

Who would have thought Notts would be in this situation, Bart's done very well. I think he would be wise to stay on for another year, it will do his confidence wonders and he needs to make sure he would not play second fiddle!

United > England

We should not sell Bart. Fab is good but its a lot of pressure for a young keeper! And also, releasing Mitchell and selling Bart would only leave Speiss and Pilks. Unlikely I would have thought!

I agree it's big ask for a young player, I feel he's upto playing but I would be concerned about his game devolopement. It's a shame we have released Mitchell, he could have spent a season on loan and we would have Liam Mitchell as backup. It would be sad to see Bart leave after one great season, it just shows how eager clubs are and how lucky we can be to attract players of his standard.

Our scouting isn't all that bad and Keith Curle did well attracting some talanted players.

Bart is the best keeper of the league...hope he stays
