Forest friendly for steady eddie

Featured Replies

The testimonial match for steady eddie will be played against our closest neighbours Nottingham Forest. After the fiasco of the last friendly, i hope Notts have managed to get this writing and the pr will be considered before speaking out.

Anyone planning to go???

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

It should be close to a sell out provided Forest fans support it.

Steady Eddie deserves an occasion like this, there is no better way to see out your career than playing against your clubs nearest neighbours. I hope he scores the hat-trick he has lacked so far this season.

With it being pre season I reckon there'll be a good attendance not sure about sell out though.

Richly deserved IMO.

I'm sure it wouldn't have been announced and I really think, that the previous arranged friendly should be kept in the past.

Mistakes was made, it's to be expected.

I think this will be a great game for someone who's an icon around Meadow Lane, the phoenix Mike Edwards to see out his career against our nearby neighbours is the perfect 'goodbye' for any Notts player but it's especially deserved by him. I hope both Notts and Forest fans join in and support the game, I also believe that the funds are given to the player - I think that's the whole point behind a testimonial match but I could be wrong.
