So who is considering going to a festival this summer? I've got Creamfields lined up... four days and nights of pure dance music!! BOOM!!!

This gonna be me in August

I can just picture half of our members raving.

We have Granny dancing to 'murder on the dance floor', I won't say where Super is.:rolleyes: I'll stop there, I think it's wise.

A field where dreams become reality.

One of the big regrets in my life is that I've never done a festival.  I remember watching Woodstock (the film) in 1970 as a teenager and thinking "I want to do that" but it never quite happened.  Ironically, Creamfields would be the one I'd love to go to.  Even at my age I love Faithless, Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim etc and a weekend of dance music and drinking would be a dream.  My two eldest daughters have been Creamfields regulars for the last few years but I never managed to blag an invite.  I offered to have my own tent and to rave alone in a dark corner but the thought of Dad tagging along didn't appeal to them at all!  Last year Norman Cook took a morning tour of the campsites, their offer of a can of cider was politely declined as apparently he is a recovering alcoholic!

What right do you have to tell me I'm wrong?  You're not my Granddaughter.

Just go along anyway without telling them @Elite_pie hah tick that box off while you still can! You can hang around with my mates and I (tent's not mine though so can't promise you can crash sadly) :P

Im still young so its something id do in the future, but at my age alot of it isnt the best music and is just an excuse for young teenage girls to get half naked, that alone would appeal to most lads my age but I've never had any friends want to go

4 days(or even an hour) of dance music would be a nightmare for me, but we all have our own tastes.

I went to download festival as a teenager, but not had the time or money to since. I have been to gigs/concerts which i enjoy because thats only a few hours of needing a babysitter. I make myself sound old when i say, the music nowadays isn't like it used to be... but its not in my opinion.

As for festivals the only ones that ever interested me were rock ones.
