As Alan Hardy has tweeted ..

Alan Hardy @Bigalanh5
💥 Leicester City 💥 AFC Bournemouth 💥 Burnley 💥 Burton Albion 💥 Northampton Town All brilliant stories. When will it be Notts County's turn?

Perhaps when he or Octavian own the club?

Maybe out of Notts's price range?

I do believe he's a good manager but Cloughie built a team there that should have made the playoffs easily, but quite like McLaren at derby, he was unable to get promoted with a team that should have gone up easily

We won't ever be able to get a half decent manager under this ownership, let's just hope the club is actually sold soon

Not convinced about Adkins, he hasn't done well in his last couple of jobs. His stock is probably still high enough to avoid dropping into League Two mind. Ray Trew is clearly a fan though.

Any half decent manager won't be interested in us given the current state of the club and the present occupants.

Plankton and Patrick star as a managerial tag team ?

I can gaurentee you again when they dismissed  and said we haven't interviewed mark Yates as we ain't intrested in him.

Itl be either Alan smith or someone like Ian Hendon gaurentee

Posted

in fact I bet Itl be Alan smith here will be the statement ready.

We had a list of good candidates but Alan stuck out to us he interviewed really well in a 4 hour interview and we fell he fits the bill

well and knows a lot you've all had you're say now it's time to back Alan for a successful season.

something like that and theyl announce it the day before don't get me wrong good person to have in the dressing room with his knowledge and presence.

But as a manager it needs to be someone who's managed and achieved things but gaurentee Itl be the cheapest option avalible.

As trews don't even want to pay ticket money to clubs now God help the budget

To be honest - I wouldn't mind Alan Smith.

I'm convinced Alan will be the next manager, especially as it seems Mr Trew has lost all interest. It's the easiest solution from his point of view.

Alan Smith is the logical choice at the moment to work as a number 2, but not manager. I have seen today that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has left PSG, now that's the guy we should have as player manager! :hyper::thumbsup:

Pretty sure Mad Dog wouldn't come back under the Trews.

Not even quoted on BetVictor. I doubt he's that mad, but I'd welcome him back.

I don't think Alan Smith is manager material personally, he doesn't come across as being the smartest knife in the drawer.

We should sack everyone, get Zlatan and have him do everything on his own.

He'd love that, and we'd fill the ground every week!

I reckon that 90% of Notts fans would have Martin Allen back in a flash after what we have had to put up with recently, but I think it would definitely take a change of owner to get him back.
