Captain Connor!

Michael O'Connor has been appointed as club captain by John Sheridan, do you agree with this ? Would you have preferred another player as captain?

Personally i would have preferred Carl Dicko but that's just because I've never seen O'Connor play

A strong character who leads by example who can communicate and organise , that's what I would like to see in my captain, so whoever has those qualities and can play a bit to would get my vote , is it O'Conner ? I'm sure JS knows and I trust his judgement so far .

He's been there before, quite a good captain IMO (Think of a lower league Steven Gerrard).

The players should respect him, with him being someone others can look up-to. I think Duffy would have also been a good call, however I think Michael O'Connor will demand the respect from the players we have been missing. Unlike Dean Leacock and others, who failed to motivate - he also won't take nonsense from people like Izale as his passion for the game goes beyond the selfish side.

Good decision by Sheridan IMO.

A field where dreams become reality.

I agree, I think O'Connor will be a good club captain, but the side looks to have several captains in it, so it won't matter so much on the pitch.
