Fascinating read that @Piethagoram, you've excelled here - brilliant read.

I'm going to make a 'George Saunders for England' poster now... I read the article and watched the YouTube video and he seems good, makes me realise that you shouldn't judge someone by stats or Wikipedia.

It's a hard call because he looks to have a lot of good assets, but the leagues are world's apart - I did wonder if he would be good enough myself.

Certainly not common to find a Brit so far away from our structure.

Great read. It's good to read about an Englishman playing abroad and integrating properly (rather than living in a hotel and expecting everyone to speak English).

In Russell Slade's defence, he was working with a small budget at Orient and it was probably a safer bet to go for a player who was already proven in that division. We signed a clutch of players with top flight experience in various countries last summer, and we all remember how that turned out.
