Players Paid Late

Sheridan on late payment of wages to players - "I don't want it to distract us, and I don't feel it has..." #notts

Now I'm not saying they deserve to be paid at all on recent performances, but footballers have families and mortgages to pay. Absolute shambles are two words to describe the ownership of the club.

- Failure to pay tax man on time (multiple times)
- Failure to pay players on time
- Failure to pay other clubs on time

What's next, the milkman?!

You couldn't make this up, the problem is - the club will still believe its the supporters fault. :twitch:

If you handled everything smoothly, had passion, treated people rightly and hired experienced - I fail to see how running a football club would be any different than a normal working environment. When Staff aren't paid, it's a massive blow to confidence - talk of takeovers never help to reassure stability and jesus the tax man should be the first person you avoid. I really wonder why has gotten to this point at Notts, it's been a joke for seasons but the more things happen well you know.
