Mick Halsall leaves

It's a real shame, Mick worked tirelessly within the youth department - his knowledge and passion really shined.

Hopefully we can find the right person to take over from where he left, problem for us is the fact we are unable retain people who make a difference. Plus when it comes to the youth team, the top position seems to go every other year. Part of the area where I would like to see stability.

I'm sure we'll learn why in due time.

I wonder if Mick Leonard may return because of the takeover, see how well things can be swept under that magical Meadow Lane carpet?

This could be cost cutting measures, it could be something else - it may also be down to the fact Hardy wants a bigger say on who works at the club.

Very sad to see Mick and Kevin leave Notts.

These are people you need in and around a community club, they're people who care but provided they are replaced wisely - its a case of moving forward. I'm more positive about someone else hiring the staff/coaching team considering its been down hill for god knows how long now. Hardy needs people who are Notts County.
