3-0 to Forest. Notts were the better side until Forest scored a really good goal just before the break. After that they were in control. Worth noting that they had quite a strong side so it was a good test for some of our youngsters.

A quick player rating

Loach 7 - not at fault for any of the goals

Richards - 5 - barely noticed him

Atkinson - 4 - played them onside too often

Brown-Hill  - 5.5 - taks the wrong (defensive option too often)

Hewitt - 6 - Good player at this level

Edwards - 6 - Steady as usual

Osborne - 5 - not involved enough

Alex Howes - 8 - really impressed with him - strong - leggy - not afraid to go forward from centre midfield - looks to go forward first, rather than square or backwards. not ready for the first team yet but worth keeping an eye on

Gibson - 3 - looked uninterested - worst i've ever seen him play

Smith - 5 - spent to much time trying to fight the oppostion

Burke - what to say? Going forward - 8 - defending minus 2 - get rid of him asap.
