We really shouldn't fear Brentford, yes they're a very good passing team but the pressure will be on them to perform.

Notts just have to do the basics and work hard, if we bypass their style - we will naturally make it difficult for them and as such I would hope we maintain a tight system in terms of marking. Give them literally no space and ensure we try to pick the ball back up quicker! If we allow our midfield to flow, then I don't think they'll play to their A game and it will be a case of ensuring chances are taken.

I could easily see the game ending up as a draw.

I think the key to this game is the way Brentford approach it, and that's hard to predict.  They still have a sniff of the play-offs, which would be their main priority, but they are a small enough club to be attracted to the finances of the 'big club' draw in Round 4 that we are chasing.  On the assumption that their main focus will be on a chance to join the Greed League and play a weakened team, I think we can grab a replay.

Good or bad draw it doesn't matter at this stage.

I want Notts to have a good cup run and the income from that would help the club. I would hope that the game can be settled within the 90 minutes played on Saturday, another fixture during what is already a difficult period just wont help matters.

Brentford are not a prem team, they have 11 players just like us. Why fear them?

Notts have to go for the win.

It sounds like its going to be a good away game and our fan base is up for it. I think the players will lift themselves for the performances, we tend be fine during these types of games. A 1-0 win will do me fine.

Not the worst draw now we've won it ah? Kinda typical really.

A lot of those who have moaned and bashed this tie will be hoping we draw United or a big club next, I hope for our sakes they don't jinx things and we end up with a less than impressive draw because Brentford wasn't that bad at all.

Fantastic win, I'm delighted we secured the win without being forced into a reply. I knew it would be tight! Well done Notts.

Typical that my internet gave up on me, meaning I couldn't follow it on the radio. It worked fine after!

I for one would like us to draw a genuinely big club in the next round, or F*rest. Preferably at home. Sure, someone like Shrewsbury would give us a better chance of progression (although we'd still be outsiders), but going out to a team like that would be pretty anticlimactic.
