Alan Hardy is launching a new female team to be called Notts County Women to differentiate from the now defunct Notts County Ladies.

Thoughts?

I think they are starting from the bottom rung, games will be played at Ilkeston, I might go and see some with the grand children, I went to some of the previous ladies matches which were ok ...ish.

not bothered tbh

i got behind the last ladies squad and it just became silly at times, i dont blame ah for shutting them down but i dont think it makes sense to reform now.

Who does care? The women's game is awful.

I think the club should have waited a few more years, get the stability firmly back within the mens team and look to push the foundations outlined properly. I just can't see how things will be different, or how fans will suddenly flock to support a new team.

Don't get me wrong I think it's great but I still say it's too soon.

A field where dreams become reality.

I would hope they do well but my times invested within the men's game.

I wonder how many Notts fans will actually care or even attend games?
