Alan Hardy this morning at the breakfast fixture confirmed that he still wanted to bring in a few more players. He hinted that we needed a left mid /winger to replace Grant so I think we have the confirmation that he won’t be returning.

Looking forward to see who comes in.

We need more than one player, several need to be signed to fill in the gaps that are required.

Matt Tootle needs someone to push the best out of him. We could do with another keeper and striker, then just a bit of work to the defence will do.

surely we need somebody on the right side though? we have kellett as a new signing.

i am more keen on seeing the defence sorted and keeper, the rest will come with time but those are pretty sensitive.

Agreed. If we assume Jones will be first choice LB then Kellet will push into Left mid or cover if needed at LB so right wing is desperately needed in my opinion. We can’t start the season with Hawkridge and Alessandro as the right wing again can we? 

Plus another striker would be a bonus!

I wonder if we will see more activity once the pre-season starts, it looks like we may have trialists coming in but I do think the right of midfield needs sorting. If the rumours of us adapting to 3 defenders at the back, along with wing backs - I do feel that we should be able to switch formations.

One thing that limited us last season was failing to adapt at times, then we tried something which didn't work and Kevin Nolan stuck with it.

This season we need to be stronger.
