Richard Duffy's injury a good or bad thing for Notts?

I think it will force people to step up and if Notts improves defensively when Duffy's out it will show how much of a weak leader he is on the pitch. I can't see how it would be a bad thing, Notts just needs Fitzsimons replacing.

Lincoln's just scored as I wrote this discussion.

A new centre back partnership could help resolve some of the issues at the back.

If it's not Duffy, it's Fitzsimons. How can a keeper fail to catch a cross? If you feel like your going to drop it, punch the ball away or try to land on it - the first thought is to protect the ball/goal. Jesus....

I'm not Richard Duffy's biggest fan, I hope his injury might force Kevin Nolan to reflect on his poor qualities.

We just need to know how long he's out for?

Good and bad, I think we will see someone else take the captaincy more seriously than Duffy does but I think we will miss him despite his habits to mess up.

Well I think it’s a bad thing, even given his bad form this season he’s another body in a position where we are weak, I would prefer the whole squad to be fit and ready to step into the team.
