Refs standards in league two out of 10

Featured Replies

You can very rarely get a good referee at this level. Kevin Nolan was right about professional referees and it needs to come into full effect very soon. 2

So guys and girls my question is simple out of 10 what would you grade the refs in league 2.

Relative to what?

Notts have 4th rate players playing in a 4th rate league so will get 4th rate referees.

They have been much poorer than the refs in league one but then we've been out of that league awhile now, so they may be just as bad.

I think the standard of English officials is dire, they're better in the Premier League but they're far from perfect. It's only natural that they will be much poorer in the lower leagues. You should see some of the decisions that happen beneath us.

I'd say they are no better than 2.

@liampie shares a good post.
