BBC Nottingham sport earlier sent out a tweet saying that the sale of the magpies had taken a step closer an un named party has arrived in Nottingham to do due diligence at meadow in preparation for the possible sale/purchase of Notts County. 418771AD-B3D7-4461-8C2F-D7C2AFDF5157.png

Probably to see what its like first, which i understand because nobody wants to own something thats going to be alot of uneeded hassle.

It was announced a few weeks ago that some consortiums were doing due diligence. Is this a new interested party? The ones I've heard who are interested so far is the UK group and the group being advised by Terry Pritchard.

i just hope the news come through, i have read things about the buyers wanting alan hardy to remain as the chairman. if this happens people need to get a grip and learn to forgive but i dont think the twitter tools will let go so easily.
