I wonder just how many of the signings are down to Football Radar.

I think the recruitment this season has been excellent, you can see the players settling in and what they bring to the team. Last season things looked good only on paper, most massively let us down as they failed to play well as a team.

Those sceptical types of fans would say "Yes, but that's only because Notts have started better."

However, on paper the signings looked good and offered something different to the playing squad. This is usually a good sign for me, yet they have all settled in quite well and I do believe the recruitment has been much better.

I'll judge the players probably after 10 games that I've seen to access, yet they all looked good enough for this level.

Unless the Nottingham Post knows or attempts to do a story, I doubt we will ever know and it's not the kind of thing they like doing [investigatory journalism] is it?

Its a possibility but we will never know.

The recruitment started off with a bang once the takeover and embargo had been resolved, think on paper we are stronger. I am a little dubious about the last two signings, they seem to be more about depth than quality but I admit things look better.

Just need to get them performing as a squad and for longer than they tend to be doing so far.

the squad looks better, there is height, pace and a lot of different options.

i think the recruitment will only improve with time, i dont know how much help ardley has had from football radar but i am encouraged by the signings made this season.
