Cal Roberts signs

Featured Replies

The proof will be in the pudding, stepping up to Notts isn’t that far but he needs to hit the ground running. Unless Neal Ardley takes a shinning to him, as he does with some.

I know little about him as a player, I will be looking to see how he does but with any signing I don't expect what others might. I would like to see him just settle in firs. If he can make the difference between finishing just in the playoffs, it will be a good signing.

Now that's the kind of player I think we should be making - young, hungry, up-and-coming. He clearly has potential and has a point to prove. Oh, and he's scored 17 goals in half a season in the division below us, and for a struggling team - Blyth have only scored 27 goals in total! So he definitely sounds worth a try, all the luck in the world to him.

It looks like a great signing, the clubs identifying players that we can afford but not risk losing, as these type of players usually come in on loan and once they go we struggle. Notts needs to invest in the right young players, get them fighting.

I am very pleased with the signing of Callum Roberts.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!
