New mural at The Navigation
It's great, really nice to Jimmy up there, and he did seem to have a good friendship with Cloghie. I don't think the signatures make it look very classy. To me, it sort of distracts from the actual art. In my opinion, incorporating the worn badges from both clubs during the respective eras of their management would greatly enhance the visual appeal. There's something tacky about fake signatures. It reminds me of the replica records in frames that people flog. The artwork itself is absolutely magnificent! Perfect job with it.

Gateshead mgr joins MK Dons
He should have stuck with Gateshead, with how MK Dons fans are right now they won't give him long to turn things around and the club needs a few signings to really give them the strength overall needed to push on. They've got a talented squad, but defensively and in midfield they could be a lot better. Good luck to him.

Match Discussion: Game 14 - The Gills (A)
Their form has massively dropped off, yet ours hasn't been that perfect but unlike normally, we have still managed not to lose much ground near the top. Only moving to 2nd, which isn't something that happens for us often. When I look at the tables and recent scores, I have this feeling it will end up as a draw. Either team has the capability to win, I would favour us more, but it depends largely on how we play. If we don't defend well or if the midfield doesn't do their job, then Gillingham won't struggle to create chances. If Gillingham tries to make it hard to use the flanks, we need to be more creative with our passing around the centre of the park, moving and making space - see how it opens without relying on taking it all the way back to the keeper. I believe Aidan Stone will return, it seemed a tactical decision to start Sam Slocombe against Mansfield. A defeat I feel would lead to some unrest and really, I think we need to take whatever outcome happens on the chin. I do hope we see an improved performance, where those who attend feel the players gave everything.

England v Italy
It is a qualifier, someone told me it was a friendly. ????

England v Italy
It would be nice if we can get the win the team should've got in the final, yes it's just a friendly but a good performance will show nothing but positives. Italy are still in a transition, where they are nowhere near the level they should be at. Very average team right now, despite some outstanding players.

The Magpies’ Journey: A Notts County Quiz
@Fan of Big Tone Yeah, by 2 seconds. I thought this was a fairly easy quiz to begin with, so I added a few more challenging questions. There's a leaderboard if you haven't seen it, it shows the amount of time people have taken to do it. @super_ram got 55% which is quite impressive for him.

Theme improvements
It's something I have mentioned but the inbuilt menu, well it looked horrible if you included the streams. You needed to press the tab! ???? Absolutely! It made sense to make the changes.

Welcome back PoN
You must have taken a left, when you should have gone right and instead of going back. You continued to go forward, then went right, right, left, right and ended up miles away from this discussion. ???????????? I'm the last person you should be saying this near, but it is good to be able to read your comments - along with everyone else.

@Fan of Big Tone Richard got the us delisted, Terabyte suggested what else could be the cause. I'm glad it's working!

Thanks, I have just made a change recommended by Terabyte. This could resolve the issue, @Fan of Big Tone.

@Fan of Big Tone At random periods, would you check and report back if they start working? I successfully emailed myself, including links, and it worked perfectly. I might have to speak to Richard or Terabyte.

FA Cup 1st round
These days, I take the draws as they come, but it's not the worst we could have got. It's a good opportunity for us to make the 2nd round. I think there could be far worse ties, especially ones where we could be away from home. Crawley is a good team, but if we play at our best and pick up in form between now and then, we should really fancy ourselves to progress.

Graham Alexander leaves MK Dons
The MK Dons fans didn't like him, so I am not surprised to see that he's gone. I think he could have done well given the time, they've been relegated and needed a strong manager at the helm. Yes, their results have been poor and they have slipped down the table. I think a lot of this comes from the vibe around the club, as people were calling for his head after we played them. ????????♂️

It’s the big one
I felt really up for the game, but the moment the Mansfield fans started to fill the Jimmy Sirrel stand - I knew they would out sing us. This was something I mentioned during my travels taking fan pictures, nobody agreed, and I think some didn't like that I thought it - which is fair enough. Yet I did have that feeling that it would happen, and I think that helped Mansfield. The KOP wasn't at its best, for obvious reasons, but you would have to feel if we gave just as much as Mansfield it would have helped our lads.

The move to electric cars ...higher insurance costs!
@Fan of Big Tone they are the electric BMW in terms of drivers. At some point people will be disgruntled that the price of road tax for electric cars will go up, I have no idea if some still manage to get road tax for free. I've told Jake, he should wait for a better hybrid to come out and go for that when he learns to drive. Well, once passed his driving test!

Requests to have the IP/domain unlisted have been sent, this could prove to be one of the most annoying downsides. The ETA is 2 weeks. I have been told it could be sooner, but there's no guarantee it will be lifted. In any circumstance I will try my best to make this as less frustrating for the end user, but for now I simply ask people not to click on the links if you do get emails.

Our domain is currently blacklisted, most likely as a result of the cyberattack. Prior to it, I had no issues with emails except for duplications which would sometimes be sent. I am disabling the mobile apps' integration, until I can get that issue to be resolved. Due to this circumstance, you will not receive any notifications through our app during this period. Once resolved, I will look to get the app back in working condition. Did anyone receive any strange emails between the site going down and backup?

Match Discussion: Game 13 - The Stags (H)
We started the game very well, I thought the games' outcome would be so different despite Mansfield looking good on the break. The reason Notts lost the game simply comes down to how we started to fail to manage the game. At 1-0 up, we became very content with having a narrow lead, too content. It took away our urgency to get the ball forward and, to create further chances. It became a very slow and patient game, which really suited Mansfield because they grew into the game. I would also say, Mansfield wanted it far more than we did. I think nerves started to creep in, and we made things a lot easier for them. The amount of times one of our players played a very simple pass but did so straight to a Mansfield player, I lost count of this, and it formed part of the issue. Defensively, I thought Connell Rawlinson and Aidan Baldwin did very well. I need to see the highlights again, but I felt disappointed with Richard Brindley. I think he could have got closer for Mansfield's opening goal. The marking process was extremely sluggish and lacked efficiency. People were criticising Sam Slocombe, but there was zero urgency from any Notts play to make space for him to distribute the ball. Hence why we started knocking it around the back, such a lack of creative ideas, or he would smash the ball up to David McGoldrick who I felt would struggle to win the ball simply because Mansfield always had 2 to 3 more players around him. Whereas we just seemed to sit in the middle of the pitch without pressuring or trying to open space. I feel very disappointed in the performance. Our midfield simply wasn't the best it could be, even John Bostock made several poor passes and would lunge into tackles without much though. His yellow card, it was a very silly foul. However, once he came off. You could see the difference, Jim O'Brien just didn't fit the game all that well. I think as a team, we failed to handle Mansfield, who were a very decent team. I am comfortable in saying, they deserved the win and played much better than any team we have faced so far. The glimpses we had of making a game out of it really ended once we conceded our 3rd goal. The service in our attacking play, wasn't great at all. The reason why I feel so disappointed is that we could have played so differently had we not settled for so long on the 1-0 scoreline. That a lone can be dangerous as it is, people may say, well, Mansfield made it hard to attack. We didn't make the space, nobody thought to get that fluid movement going. Aaron Nemane made an effort, but unfortunately, he didn't perform at his highest level. I just feel like these games are what we should be doing much better in.

Scouting Dossier : Notts v Mansfield
Oh, he was a dirty, annoying sod. He did do okay, but for me, he's not the answer to what we need.

I have switched to Terabyte's mood application; it's very good. I'm not sure if I plan to create my own mood graphics; however, the ones used are designed by an awesome forum graphic creator. You can select your mood using one of these means: you either select your own mood from any location or by clicking on your username from the user menu next to your avatar. Beneath your current rank, you'll see a grey icon; just press that to select your mood. You could also change it within your user profile.
