Match Discussion: Game 31 - The Alex (H)
Has Kevin been working on shooting in training or something? All the goals ended up being taken very well. The roar when we equalized was matched by Notts going 2-1 up.

Match Discussion: Game 31 - The Alex (H)
We need Tootle back. I would like to see Bennett start just to save either Stead or Ameobi's legs, I think the game is winnable but as always its down to how we play/chances created.

Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Grecians (H)
It wasn't our day but there should have been enough quality to pull it back at the very least. I felt Notts performed much better than Exeter in the second half which we dominated.

Match Discussion: Game 21 - The Hatters (A)
Difficult game but a solid point for Notts. I felt impressed with how we approached the game and handled Luton, first half we could have been leading easily.

Lewis Thompson: Comparing Adam Collin and Ross Fitzsimons
I thought Fitzsimons looked awkward in the air yesterday. Yes he caught the ball confidently the majority of times he was required, but at stages he seemed out of position or risked things which made me nervous. I both keepers have done well this season, I just think we should stick with one or the other because I dislike seeing keepers change for the sake of it. Fitzsimons distribution is excellent, so I would go with him.

Match Discussion: Game 18 - The Robins (H)
Play it on the ground, keep us fans entertained and a couple of goals for me would be good if Notts can get the win. I can see it being a 1-1 draw though.

Match Discussion: Game 17 - The Boro (A)
It's a good point when you think about the possible outcome. I do understand the frustration mentioned before me, we was poor in the first half but Nolan corrected this within the second half. It just goes to show that the old saying that its a game of two halves bares true. We also had a number of fantastic efforts within the second half, so either team could have won.

Match Discussion: Game 16 - The Exiles (H)
I am hoping we can get a much needed win at Meadow Lane but I am nervous about the game. If things dont go to plan, the crowd could get onto the players backs which wont help. They need to respond!

Match Discussion: Game 15 - Cumbrians (A)
The first half was quite poor for Notts. We didn't seem able to use the ball all that well and we played in a similar fashion to previous games which allowed Carlisle to play us off the park. I think they should have been at least 3-0 by that point and I would say we are lucky with the draw. That is why I would take the point but its hard not to feel disappointed. Same old Notts I am afraid!

Match Discussion: Game 15 - Cumbrians (A)
Notts need to get a win but its going to be difficult no doubt. Why is the hardest months the easiest? No score prediction from me because I think we will lose.

Match Discussion: Game 14 - The Alex (A)
Exeter face Luton Town later so that will be an interesting game to watch out for the score. Even Accrington have the chance of going top depending how the other results pan out, I think this will give less pressure for Notts which should mean for a more controlled game. We have been playing quite well away from home, so we should be fine. 3-0 Notts.

Match Discussion: Game 12 - Green Devils (H)
It was a frustrating game against Forest Green. I was impressed by how good they looked on the ball, very calm and collected within their passing. If anything I am annoyed that Notts looked like the side struggling for form and after the Mansfield game I expected better. I am sure Kevin Nolan will correct the performances but even the basics we failed with yesterday. 1-1 against them is not worth celebrating at all.

Match Discussion: Game 11 - Stags (A)
Nobody looks forward to visiting Field Mill, its one of the most depressing stadiums out there! @DangerousSausage The timing for us couldn't be any better, but I do think that we will have the pressure. Mansfield may allow us to attack opting to sit back and knowing what that fat donut chaser Steve Evans will be happy to just try to play the game against us. We need to be cautions that they don't score against the run of play... This years team will want a good result, so I hope for a decent performance.

Kevin Nolan: 'Jon Stead does not get the credit he deserves'
The last few games he has improved greatly but I think there is more to come from Jon Stead. The difference between Kevin Nolan's expectations and the fans is that we always want more, whereas Kevin has to manage the players. That said I agree that Jon will get the credit he deserves at the times he performs to the fans level of expectation (which he has been doing recently).
