Match Discussion: Game 6 - Rovers (H)
How Notts picked up the ball at times in the first half was good to see, the organisation even then was way off but I felt the communication in the defence was mostly better. The goals came from Notts aimlessly pushing forward without any clear mindset of what to do when they had the ball. The goals were typical of what Notts have conceded this season. Forest Green made scoring look easy but I have no confidence now in Fitzsimons or Hewitt, Jones also looked pretty useless at the back.

Notts County bring in Harry Kewell as manager and re-sign Rob Milsom from Crawley Town
I would hate for Hardy to repeat all of Trew's mistakes as chairman, this right now does not look to be moving the club forward. It's bizarre and disappointing. Who exactly is managing the club Hardy or the manager?

Match Discussion: Game 6 - Rovers (H)
Eyes will be on the players Saturday has @DonnyNotts has said. Steve Chettle won't have changed much and I would be more surprised he if he starts with a different team/formation than Kevin Nolan. I hope Notts can get their first league win because I am certain we can all be vocal enough about what may happen if the board do decide to consider Chettle. The season starts soon hopefully.

Match Discussion: Game 5 - Red Imps (A)
Lincoln will be thinking its the perfect time to go into this game, so let's hope whatever training and whatever has been said to the players pays off. Otherwise the confidence could be extremely low, leading to a worst result. I would just be happy if Notts can get to the end of the first half without conceding a goal.

Video Discussion: Nolan: Lincoln (A)
The same players he has lifted previous seasons are now the same people who are letting him down, the defence is a big issue but I do not understand why Kevin Nolan is blaming the strikers for missing chances. We are lucky they are even scoring with the way Notts are playing right now.

Match Discussion: Game 4 - The Exiles (A)
Get the ball down and allow the midfield to do their jobs, be smarter in possession and tighter to the opposition when our of it. Any early goal for Notts would be vital. It would be a big boost in grabbing the first league win and dealing with the oppositions attack properly would make things a lot easier. Notts have had a poor start but against Newport County it could start to improve. 2-0 Notts win, Hemmings and Vaughan to score.

Match Discussion: EFL Cup - The Boro (A)
The youngsters sounded like they played very well. Tom Crawford has made a mark which will hopefully get him noticed, maybe he should start alongside David Vaughan? Promising display for the league considering it wasn't the strongest squad Notts could field and yet they played efficiently. I would agree that the goals conceded needs reducing, Championship opposition or not you would have to be deluded to think he does nothing but have a negative effect on a players confidence. Notts will only improve when they stop leaking goals. Positive night on the field for me too.

Match Discussion: Game 3 - The Glovers (H)
Hemmings and Dennis will hopefully start since Stead is playing tonight. Stead can't play both games and give 100%, the weekend is looking brighter already.
-
Match Discussion: EFL Cup - The Boro (A)
I am sure Notts will play better, Nolan usually gets a response from the players. The defence does need to learn faster, the cup is a good chance to win back some money for the coffers.
-
Match Discussion: Game 2 - United (A)
I am going to go for a 2-0 Notts win. Hemmings to get a brace.

Match Discussion: Game 2 - United (A)
It would benefit Notts if they allowed Vaughan to unlock teams with his passing, some have been quick to be negative but if Notts are to play passing football he's the key. Hewitt is the work horse not the creative outlet, both wingers need to be on the ball against Cambridge. I expect to see better from the pair, neither impressed me all that much against Colchester. Dennis and Hemmings have to start.

Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Boro (H)
We lacked pace, the defending was awful. The game was screaming out a 0-0 draw but the goal Grant scored completely changed the outcome. More focus on creating chances and taking responsibility at the back is required. Good win mind.

Kevin Nolan tears into Notts County players following Barnet defeat
TBF it has been long due if people were honest. There was no hiding after the shamble exit from the FA cup, Kevin knows this and he has quickly changed his tune. He needs to be more professional and keep his opinions out of the media. What he says in the dressing room should stay there, it is not for anyone else to know.
-
Match Discussion: Game 32 - The Bees (A)
Notts need to continue the league form, Crewe was a good upturn and that has set the standard. We know how to play and fans will expect a repeat. Barnet should be a game where we get 3 points but you never know with football.
