  1. Fully agree with this. A rallying call would go a long way, the club need to prepare bridges with those they can but I worry its to late and not all will be like me.
  2. I do not think Notts will go for someone else in contract. If Martin Allen was unattached he would be ideal to steady the reigns. I just do not see the club paying compensation for a manager, I have money on another unknown manager with no experience.
  3. Defending and shooting practises? I hope so.
  4. I may be mad to suggest it but I would not change the squad all that much. Mansfield should be written off and only the few should be benched as punishment. Barnet is a different type of opposition so we should not undo the recent work under Cooper. Give some players like Gibson more of a chance I agree but don't cut the squad up completely. It was always going to take time for things to settle, the thrashing may just be a blip. At least one would hope so.
  5. I thought Mansfield played well, again they looked more organized and wanted the result more. 5 goals don't deny that but I hope its just a bad day in the office.
  6. Good video.
  7. Noble did well yesterday. I thought Stevenage may get the better of him, what with all the pushing and tackles but he did well. Great goal by him also!!
  8. I was going to write the other night all that Cooper needs is a win behind him. Today he got that and I felt the whole squad which took part performed to an acceptable level. The determination to avoid frustration, fights with Stevenage players and buckle down highlighted the major change which we have under gone since a proper manager was appointed. The negativity around meadow lane has gone, along with watching half hearted performance or a squad with no idea how to play. Take a bow Mark Cooper, now lets see what he can do in the summer if we can keep him.
  9. This should be another 3 points if recent performances are to go by. It would be good for all if we could make it 2 in 2. Hartlepool will come to either attack or park the bus, much will be said by if they fear Mark Coopers Notts County or not. If they do, I expect a game like today.
  10. It was a lovely finish by Noble. The same can be said for the two disallowed, each was well taken but no grumbles over that.
  11. All Cooper is missing is a win. If on Saturday he and the players can achieve a victory, it will go along way to ending the season the best that it can. No thrills or drama, just play to score and defend well to win. We do not want miracles, just dedication and fight from here on. 2-0 Notts for me. Stead and Murray with the goals.
  12. Next season take the games as they come and focus 100% on each one. He's not wrong about being disappointed.
  13. The playback button did not work for me @notts-joe, I have downloaded it.
  14. Not likely, I will label this wishful thinking. If he still remains the manager by December 2016, I may reconsider.
  15. @Piethagoram For awhile Notts did look like it was a task to do anything other than defend but I am content. I think a few more weeks and performances under the belt we will be able to see more of what Cooper is trying to do. McLeod did not look confident or an enabled footballer at all. As far as misses go, his will take some beating. Would have preferred someone else coming on instead of him but a goal could change things.
  16. How we did not score I will not know, felt the passion from the players and the fans gave their support.
  17. Wycombe are a good side but we should have beat them away from home, this time around it's different. They have good form and belief, we do not. I also share the thought of it being hard to see us score but it could end goalless if we defend.
  18. Who is Wildin? I feel more excited and interested in the game, Aborah is back ladies and gentleman.
  19. Good video and set of question, relegation should not be a concern of any one currently but things had to change to stop the rot setting in.
  20. It's Fullarton who has a knack of making players disappear.
  21. Awful display of football by Notts. We could not pass, clear the ball etc. Stead looked two paces behind every Dagenham, who had him in his pocket. Stead and Murray should have scored those missed chances summed the night up for me. Stanley Aborah was in the executive boxes for last nights game, along with Snijders, Valencic etc He seemed quite content with being at the club. It seems we have a division amongst the playing ranks.
  22. I hate to say but if we lose, it will just show us up.
  23. If anyone else here watched the first half like me, you have my sympathy. Very dull start, lacking everything you would expect in a football game. The team who won deserved it.
