  1. Good win, cracking run by Ozzy but a little overlooked by the injury to JOB.
  2. It's that Christmas period isn't it, Notts can never keep up momentum during this point. People focused on other matters, I have felt Richard Brindley has been consistently poor in recent games. Neal Ardley might not call him out, but he needs step things up.
  3. His experience is the most important part, rather than his ability. At 38-years-old he's good, but for me he's chosen as the default captain merely due to the years that he has been around the game.
  4. Well taken goals, in otherwise what could have been a goalless draw. Vital victory for Notts at this stage.
  5. It sounds like he understands it's about improving, if he does impress Neal Ardley should give him a chance but it seems hard to see how it will happen with the players available at the moment.
  6. Good performance, a little slow at times but I felt Notts played very well. The goals scored was excellent too.
  7. Ravens vs Magpies? It sounds like a rugby match. I think Notts are starting to settle, the fixture will be important to keep the lineup as close as Saturday's. Hopefully Nathan Tyson will be ready make the bench, as him and Kristian Dennis would give us better options.
  8. If Notts can give a steady performance, I think they should win but all this pins on Neal Ardley. I feel he's not making the most of the players at his disposal and I think it has shown in the last couple of games.
  9. I see another defeat myself, I am not sure how Notts will cope against a more phsyical side but provided they try and work hard that is enough for me.
  10. I have this one as a 2-2 draw, I wouldn't underestimate Yeovil. They usually perform well against Notts.
  11. Second half was all about confidence for Notts, they strided with every effort to score and change the outcome of the game. This doesn't mean Chorley played poorly, yet I think some are taking their mistakes a little easy as if I supported them I would be disappointed by how they failed to lift their own game after a superb first half performance.
  12. Wrexham bringing a good amount of support should lift the occasion, if Notts battles and tries to win every ball. I am confident that they can end the game on another victory, I think it will be narrow mind.
  13. I am looking forward to getting back on the road, Notts shouldn't have too many nerves. These new signings arrive just in time, they make Neal Ardley's squad selection stronger and I am positive the team will do well. 1-0 win is my prediction.
  14. Notts will have to adjust quickly and fast to ensure the wood stops rotting, fans will be key. Provided they don't give up the fight and become all mardy on social media.
  15. You're right @Chris, Notts will be fine and the clubs lucky to have someone who fights so hard to represent them despite all your up evils. Great blog.
  16. Exeter should press Notts much more than Morecambe which will only make the game more open, hopefully it will be an exciting game. If the midfield does its job and Neal Ardley ensures Kane Hemmings isn't just on his own. I do feel the game will be entertaining.
  17. I have purchased two tickets, I don't want to be greedy but to support PON. ????
  18. I gave up listening and went about my day after the second goal, same story with Notts. You hope for better but expect the worst. Relegation now seems confirmed unless this spineless squad can show some sort of fight.
  19. If Notts had more home games than they do survival might have been more optimistic for me but games like this just adds further nails into the coffin. I have little confidence in any of the players ability to lift the spirits.
  20. It wasn't a bad performance, but at the same time it wasn't good either. Overall it was just very flat and effortless, Notts was setup to defend. The plan was to hoof under pressure, hoof when in possession and hoof just for good measure. Neal Ardley failed to instruct the players that the game was important to win, he didn't even see that Port Vale was there for the taking IF performances levels lifted. It was like a club wanting to settle for a point because that outcome was good enough. In the case for Notts it simply wasn't. The lack of efforts on goals stems from the boring tactics.
  21. Big game, a fair amount of pressure and I have no idea at the moment how to call this game. Port Vale seem one of those teams who do well and play poorly in others.
  22. I am more than happy to support PON, I realise that the site not just costs a lot of time but also money. I have thrown a fiver into this but would pay for the prints if I won. ????
  23. Once home I will have a go on this. Good luck!
  24. Defensively Notts doesn't look able to stop Colchester United. Good attacking play, Dan Jones has done well on the left side but I am dubious of Cedric Evina and Richard Duffy looks a shambles.
  25. 1-0 down already, easy move and well taken goal by Colchester. I am unsure playing Evina on the right is the best thing because Notts looks very poor at the back so far. The midfield need to get a grip of the game otherwise I can see this ending 4-1 to them.
