  1. I like how Maynard’s focused on keeping calm ahead of the game. Can’t let emotions take over, just need to focus on the win.
  2. I wish Alassana Jatta had converted some of his chances. It was a tough game, but he showed promise. Not quite Man of the Match performance from him, so I voted Dan Crowley.
  3. The injuries worry me a bit, especially with Jodi Jones out, but we’ve got enough depth to get a result.
  4. We’ve been unlucky with injuries, but Maynard seems confident in the squad’s ability to cope.
  5. Gordon’s attitude is spot on! A happy player is a performing player. Glad he’s home where he belongs!
  6. I am going against the popular vote, not because Alex Bass doesn’t deserve it, but because I feel Scott Robertson deserves my vote for his performance. He was really good coming back into the mix.
  7. I really hope we can score a few goals and keep a clean sheet. This would be huge for us. COYP!
  8. The answer is Mike Edwards. He went to Carlisle and then came back to where he belonged. It’s a shame the club doesn’t have ex-players like him around.
  9. I don’t think players should be allowed to make challenges from behind, only in front of them. I know people say defending and tackling are becoming things of the past, but we need to try to avoid injuries. I would call for better protection.
  10. I feel the same, but I can see the benefit of taking him on loan. I hope having George Abbott around our young pros will encourage them and make them want to push themselves. Yet, it is disappointing that they will most likely miss getting a chance to feature much in the league.
  11. Wishing Jodi a speedy recovery! His positive spirit is inspiring, and we can't wait to see him back on the pitch.
  12. Carlisle away is never easy. Fingers crossed we can get a decent result.
  13. Resilience is key. Despite the challenges, the team showed grit and determination. On to the next one.
  14. Yes, I have also voted for McGoldrick. I think he deserves it by far.
  15. Morecambe might be struggling, but their aggressive style could definitely put us under pressure. I trust Maynard has a solid game plan for this one.
  16. Can’t fault the effort, but we really needed to convert those chances. Fine margins in this league, onto the next one.
  17. Maynard’s got the lads playing some top football. It’ll be tough for Gillingham to break us down. Can’t wait!
  18. With the talk on social media from Gillingham fans, I will be disappointed if they don’t give us a game. I think at our best we could crush them. Equally, if they are defensively solid, they might prove to be a hassle at the other end of the pitch. I hope Jatta can make all the difference, or someone else.
  19. It’s weird because of him taking the job, it feels like a short-term stepping stone. The only way I can understand this is if Carlisle were aware that Williamson wasn’t happy at MK Dons, and that opened the door for talks. I do think he would have been sacked at some point by MK Dons, so they have smartly cashed in on him.
  20. I don’t think we will if we remain a League Two team, maybe not even if we establish ourselves as a League One team. Macaulay Langstaff would have been the only exception to this because he scored for fun. I think the quality would have to be someone with better abilities than most League One teams because they don’t stay around long enough.
  21. It's comforting to see how grounded the team remains despite our top position. Crowley’s doing brilliantly.
  22. David McGoldrick has been a revelation for us this season. His consistency in front of goal has really helped the team.
  23. It's interesting to hear that Gillingham fans respect their defence. This match will test our offensive strategies for sure.
  24. I’ll be honest with you all, I had no idea about them or any sort of Xbox agreement they have. I just wanted to make the joke about it being outside of the box, with the pun being about gaming.
  25. Our attacking options are just lethal. Jodi Jones and Dan Crowley are playing on another level. Keep it up lads!
