Match Discussion: Game 6 - The Mariners (H)
He's the first young striker we've had for a long time that has something about them, loaning him to a good footballing side in the conference like you say would have been perfect

Match Discussion: Game 6 - The Mariners (H)
As a club how are we ever going to know if they can cut it unless we give them a chance? I know its all about balancing hopes & expectations but i would rather see us give the youth a chance like we have we Curtis and Haydn. I don't buy the argument of slowly slowly because if they are good enough to cut it they will be from the off. An example of this is Marcus Rashford, he proved he could cut it straight away

For me there is but he's on loan at a lower non-league club. I still think Snijders has a lot to offer

I've never been a fan of 4-2-3-1 as i think it limits your mobility going forward, i prefer 4-1-3-2, would your formation be your choice if you were the manager?

Match Discussion: Game 6 - The Mariners (H)
Grimsby have looked good going forward in some of their games against teams who are expected to not do very well, that said Bogle can cause problems by dropping off the centre halves and he has a good long distance shot on him, on a more positive side for us there centre halves are useless on the floor and very slow especially when being turned, remember Ben Davies? He's playing at rb and whilst we all know of his ability on the ball he was never the quickest and that lack of pace is across the back four is something that we should be exploiting this weekend, they also don't tend to play a proper holding midfielder which again with the players we have we should look to exploit these combined weaknesses tomorrow. Given the above i would set the team out like this Collin Tootle Laing Duffy Dickinson O'Connor Snijders Aborah / Milsom Campbell Stead Oliver Vadaine will crucify their centre halves and be the perfect foil for the pace of Snijders and Campbell, having said that JS will always play Rodman for his effort and will probably go with the the same team that won last weekend plus that new lad that signed.

Notts County manager Mark Cooper "set to be named as new Forest Green Rovers boss"
Guy Branston is our new manager in partnership with another clown from GTFC.

Notts County manager Mark Cooper "set to be named as new Forest Green Rovers boss"
For me his appointment was all about AT saying there you go we've appointed someone the fans wanted and look he hasn't been any better than the sh!te we've appointed yet he has done better and they can't accept that they don't know best

Notts County manager Mark Cooper "set to be named as new Forest Green Rovers boss"
He is going so I've heard. Who can blame him? He obviously has an issue (like we all do) with Guy Branston and how much influence he has on players etc and by the sounds of his interview he has already had enough of the merry go round that we have become. The only saving grace might be that we are a league club, can't see any other positive.

Liam Noble glad to help Notts County to first home win of 2016
I maybe am reading between the lines a little but for the first time, when talking about his future he brought up being at another club, he said it in such a way that made it stand out if you het what I mean

Liam Noble glad to help Notts County to first home win of 2016
Liam is by far and away a massive talent that will only flourish with the coaching of Mark Cooper yet typical Notts we are going to lose both of them come the end of the season, Mark Cooper intimated as much in his press conference and Liam deserved the respect of being offered a contract in January, yet again the wonderous head of recruitment doing another sterling job, Liam will be long gone into league 1 before we get our fingers out, just like Alan Judge.

Jamie Fullarton: "We weren't good enough"
Listening to that prat JF speak is like watching the episode of Peter Kays car share where his manager phones him talking all the usual manager speak.

Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Pirates (H)
Informed decisions meaning.... whilst trying not to gag...... yes Guy, ok Guy.... ha ha
-
Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Pirates (H)
The thing is thouhg it's not too attacking at all, that midfield has everything,I would make a change and play 4-1-3-2. Being Loach Hewitt McKenzie Hollis Adams Milsom Noble Aborah (any one of Banton/Campbell/Burke) Mcloed Stead
-
Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Pirates (H)
The thing is why not name Aborah and put him in the team, that way if he doesn't produce then we will know the truth won't we!
-
Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Pirates (H)
Far far too attacking for the dour one
-
Stanley Aborah: The Interview
As you know mate I have been telling you privately and to a lesser extent everyone else for years that something isn't right with club. Haven't been proven wrong in all that I have said so far and I don't think I ever will be ref GB etc etc

Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Minstermen (A)
If it wasn't obvious before yesterday who runs the club then it should be now. When Julian Winter spoke to abundance of clubs who couldn't wait to tell us to hire JF did he at no point stop and either ask nor wonder why those clubs didn't appoint him if he was such a world beater??
-
Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Minstermen (A)
@liampie When you have a team of tryers and no talent you reap what you sow
-
Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Minstermen (A)
That as long as you are happy to do as your told then all's good
-
Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Minstermen (A)
2-0 down to the worst team in the league.....
-
Match Discussion: Game 27 - The Hatters (A)
Like I said quite glad to eat my words Would be interested to hear about how we have played
-
Match Discussion: Game 27 - The Hatters (A)
Crap!! ha ha I will quite gladly eat my words about this one. Now he has to make people want to pay to watch us at home not leave early
-
Match Discussion: Game 27 - The Hatters (A)
Given that line up i'm now changing my prediction to 7-0 win for Luton, we will only be watching the ball drop from the clouds again as we are playing 7 at the back again. @erindoorsWhy oh why can't we have evolution rather than constant revolution every three months when we change our managers?
-
Match Discussion: Game 27 - The Hatters (A)
Both of those line-ups stand a chance of having a shot on target, so don't be silly and return those line-ups to what the travelling few will be tortured with tomorrow...
-
Match Discussion: Game 27 - The Hatters (A)
They won't as they all want away from the circus that we have become, we will have every man behind the ball all the time and then just wallop the ball to their defenders at every given chance. Looks good on a power point though
