  1. Focus on the next game against Hartlepool. Notts won't win every game! I thought it came down mostly to the lack of control the referee had of the game and how Woking would dive/waste time. Notts just has to be more aware of the tricks and quit walking the ball towards the penalty box.
  2. I can see Yeovil winning but it wouldn't be a disappointment for me.
  3. At my age, I only attend a handful of away games but this season has reminded me of what it was like supporting Notts all those years ago. Some of the grounds have a charming old school appeal to them. I don't think the club would have moved forward without promotion or relegation, the latter seems to have done the trick so far. I am hoping to make a few more games now we are in 2020. All the home games I have attended, I would agree the standard hasn't been that bad. A rough rough times but a lot more enjoyment is there. Teams appear to want to do well because of how tight this league can be.
  4. The momentum that has been built does need to be carried forward, if Dover deal Notts a setback, I have faith the team can bounce back. I think it will be 1-0 to Notts. Wes Thomas to score a tap in.
  5. It's a game whereby Neal Ardley can try something different if he chooses, I am hoping Notts wins.
  6. I see it being a draw, Kristian Dennis getting the only goal for Notts.
  7. I'm expecting a draw, Halifax should be well prepared. I have read how they have one of the smallest budgets in the league, so it shows you what they are capable off.
  8. It will be a big ask to bounce back from the Yeovil game, with this in mind I think a 2-2 draw.
  9. Notts have to go into this game fighting to maintain the form, DDLW so far. A win would given the manager some cushion time from those disgruntled and eager to sake the manager.
  10. Newport County asserted the same pressure that Notts did against Mansfield, only difference is they pushed for a second goal and never gave up. We sat on the Mansfield lead and we thought going 1-1 we could grind out a draw.
  11. Fantastic to finally see the club win a game away from home, the performance was good and it's been the first entertaining game of the season. I didn't think Forest Green was bad at all, I just feel Notts played much better.
  12. I will look to purchase one or two tickets to support this. It's a good idea to pay for the sites costs, I can't imagine its easy to do.
  13. Good draw, can't dwell on the goal conceded because both teams put a good game on.
  14. Any print available from the selection?
  15. Quite entertaining but at the same time it was frustrating. Notts started slow but responded well to the early goal, after going 3-1 up they just sat back and invited Colchester to play. Neal Ardley should have sensed the way the game was going and made the changes needed before they scored their second, it was clear that the team needed addressing at the back. Good point but Ardley cannot go on about dropping points, he takes his share of the responsibility from today's game.
  16. I will have a couple of quid on this, you have to be in it to win it ladies and gents.
  17. Glad the draw moved Notts from off the bottom place, it's just a win now and the season may finally start. If some good form follows then we could forget about the awful start but I feel yesterday the squad gave what they needed.
  18. I wouldn't rush to start Ben Hall. Elliott Ward and Shaun Brisley with the new guy will be fine. I hope we are more organised defending and attacking, this could be a good chance to get three points.
  19. I don't think Notts will win either but I want to hear of an improvement to the play and if they perform better there is no reason why a draw couldn't happen. I would start with attempting to keep a clean sheet.
  20. This must surely calm the nervous of many? Go on Notts..
  21. Just play to our own strengths and give a few players a good run, if things don't go well change things up. Hopefully Notts can use the game to get the defence focused and they can then snatch a 1-0 win.
  22. I would like to think Boro would underestimate us and that it would give Notts a chance. The cups are a golden chance to win back some of the money spent this season but the risk of losing focus on the league. I really don't know.
  23. I can't convey my disappointment, Nolan has a uphill task to fix the issues at the back I feel. I think he's being let down by the defence and an inconsistent Fitzsimons. He's really not rising to the challenge of being the number 1.
  24. I think we all do. If the work levels had been higher last Saturday against Colchester, nobody would be concerned about Cambridge. Whoever scores first will take the points I feel, if by half time its 0-0 it will be a draw.
