Dele Alli Exclusive
Itβs positive that Dele Alli knows he has an issue and sought help himself. That is a sign of wanting to break the cycle he falls into. Itβs also good to know he had the support of friends and family, along with Everton looking out for him. I hope he can start putting in the performances that first got him noticed. If I were him, I would forget about the negatives at Spurs and just try to capture a new positive start. Itβs a brand new chapter in his career, and focusing solely on what makes him happy should have a knock-on effect on his football itself.

Charlie Slater leaves Notts County commentary with heartfelt message
Itβs sad to see the duo of Charlie and Stall come to an end, but hopefully they can bring someone in who can connect with the fans on a similar level. I think weβve been lucky to have Charlie, after the sad loss of Uncle Colin.

Luke Williams discusses Notts Countyβs new kit design and player evaluation
Fair play to Steve Cooper for his approach in speaking with Luke Williams. It reminds me of the stories of Jimmy and Cloughie. While we can enjoy banter between our rivalry, itβs good to know that the club personnel can get along, as it opens the doors to signing potential good players from them. Also, the home shirt is really starting to make me want to buy it. Itβs good to see what the gaffer thinks of the squad and pre-season.

Luke Williams Shares His Insight into Notts Countyβs Pre-Season Friendly Against Nottingham Forest
The switch to a 4-4-2 formation was a welcome change. The 5-3-1 gives us those extra bodies in midfield when we can dominate a team, but itβs less effective when we play a team that does what we do to lesser oppositions. I thought defensively Notts looked composed; we moved the ball around well and created space. There were groans that we did this a little more than some fans would like to see, but it prevents us from needlessly giving the ball away. It also works teams into opening space up, so we have to be patient at times in our build-up. When we went for it, Notts looked superb, and I would hope Forest fans can give us the respect we deserve for keeping their quality mostly quiet. I thought both teams showed a lot of respect for each other, and although Jim OβBrien had cause to lash out, as he was fouled and stomped on, it never boiled over, which it shouldnβt do in these types of games.

Scouting Dossier : Notts v Stoke
Itβs an interesting call, though I donβt think itβs likely that we would be looking at him. It wouldnβt surprise me if he features more in Stokeβs team in their upcoming season.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Bucks (A)
I would like us to keep the squads the same as in the Forest friendly, with changes coming in the second half. It would be a good indication of how the players measure up against different levels of teams and give the squad a chance to settle as we approach the final pre-season friendly. This should help the youth players, who need some of the senior players to give them confidence.

Barnsley charged by EFL
Barnsley needs to be sorted out. I canβt believe that Man City hasnβt had their punishment yet for lying about the money they spent. However, Barnsley does need to be punished in line with everyone else and made to submit their accounts earlier if they want to lift any potential sanctions. When they do this, you need to force them into complying. This forced stricter rules with who operates and owns a club, back when it happened with Munto I don't believe the rules stated you had to say who was involved. You just had to have someone in charge and declare who the owner was.

Notts County Gears Up for the New Season with Strong Additions
CliftonMagpie commented on TheSkipper's blog entry in Black and White Memories: Nostalgia for Notts County Fans with TheSkipperWe have a lot to be optimistic about. The first game against Sutton will hopefully show us a bit more. The depth is a good thing, and Luke Williams has a clear plan for how he wants his team to play. I think he knows what his starting 11 would be, even if heβs not publicly saying so. I also believe that we may try to start the season without signing any more players.

Where are they now? - Callum McGregor
Callum McGregor is a great player, when he retires he should be amongst their legends. He's helped them in Europe and even assisted the Scottish national team with their improvements on the field. He was great for Notts!

Notts v York City ( Subsequent Red card offence recorded against York City player) 3 match ban
Hahaha!! Shame on York City, some of their fans are having a right meltdown about this. It's a good thing it's not some of our lot for a change but if it's deemed violent conduct, action needed to be taken. A 3 match ban is deserved for anyone who thinks being a thug pays off.

Sochaux head for bankruptcy
Sochaux? Iβm not sure Iβve heard of them before, but like Southend, I hope they survive.

Southend Utd survive High Court hearing
Southend needs a lifeline; itβs terrible what theyβre experiencing, but weβve been there. I hope they manage to sort it out in time.

Match Discussion: PSF - Forest (H)
Luke Williams should proceed with his plans and ignore the moaning fans. I think dropping the youngsters at this point would be harmful. A strong defence would be a good call, but the more I think about it, you would hope the players react to the minority of so-called fans who threw their toys out of the pram. I think Forest will allow us to play much more than Stoke City did; they came and acted like it was a cup match. Fair play, but I would be surprised if they didnβt.

The Impact of Streaming on Film Nostalgia
I donβt feel the urge to watch films; I tend to see something and wait to watch it. I donβt stream or watch much TV, but I do watch more YouTube - thatβs just my generation. I donβt think Iβve ever seen a VHS tape in person. ????

Where are they now : Marc Bola
If he does well, thereβs a slim chance he may get noticed by England. More likely, he may declare himself available for the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Good luck to him. I would have stuck it out in England, but I wish him all the best with his career.

Archie Mair joins Gateshead
This is a great move for Archie Mair. I agree with others that he is still a few years away from playing regular football within a Football League team. It would be difficult for him to just step up, but this will allow him to bide his time and learn with a decent team. This experience will be valuable for him.

A Plea for Support from an Elderly Notts Fan
There were some young fans near me, a group of about 7. They were all shouting at Aidan Stone, thinking it was funny to ask where his hands were and shouting that he wasnβt very good. It was very immature behaviour, but you get 16-year-olds like this in a group. I heard more encouragement than anything else, but the KOP was very silent. I donβt think thereβs any need to be rude towards the players, especially the younger ones. They will beat themselves up over the slightest thing, so why be cruel or unkind?

Drinks at Meadow Lane
This isnβt really newsworthy, as it doesnβt mention any changes or anything of interest to us. Itβs just a press release promoting the partnership, and since I donβt drink at the ground, it doesnβt appeal to me for that reason either.
