The Countdown is On: MK Dons and Notts County Prepare for Epic Showdown at Stadium MK
Both teams are missing a lot of quality. I think whoever takes Jodi Jones’ place has a chance to show why they should be in the squad. A good performance from them could lift Notts, but I think the game is going to be very difficult. Both MK Dons and our midfield will be testing each other. There’s quality in both sides and I just hope we don’t buckle under the pressure.

Dan Crowley: Notts County’s Success Due to Quality Players and Coaching Staff
Dan Crowley’s partnership with Jodi Jones and Aaron Nemane is a testament to the strong bonds that exist within the squad. The players have developed a deep understanding of each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and this is evident in their performances on the pitch. It’s particularly impressive to see how seamlessly the summer signings have integrated into the team, adapting to our style of play with ease. Crowley’s contributions to our attacking play are invaluable; even when we don’t have possession, he works tirelessly to win the ball back or position himself strategically for when a teammate does. He’s a player who is always thinking ahead.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams: ‘Nomination is a reflection of the entire team’s performance’
It’s fantastic to see Luke Williams being recognised as the Manager of the Month. This is a significant accolade for him and the team, acknowledging the immense effort required to achieve success. Williams’ pragmatic reflection on being at the top of the league demonstrates his level-headed approach; he’s not one to rest on his laurels. Complacency can easily creep in, especially given our team’s strength and competitive edge. However, the season is lengthy and it’s likely we’ll face some challenges along the way. Williams is acutely aware of this reality and continues to make judicious decisions.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
I will try to obtain it for when I know that @Fan of Big Tone is unavailable. I will simply ask his partner in crime, @super_ram. In all seriousness, I will post the next round on Monday at 6 pm, promptly and without delay.

Macaulay Langstaff's Double Delight: Scoring in Front of the KOP
Macaulay Langstaff put in an outstanding performance against Accrington Stanley, scoring two goals and contributing significantly to the team’s success. He could have easily scored more than just a brace, such was his dominance throughout the game. His first goal was a thing of beauty, and it was a joy to see it find the back of the net. With his second goal, there was never any doubt that he would convert the chance. Langstaff is undoubtedly a talented player, and we are incredibly proud to have him representing our club.

Luke Williams Highlights Importance of Home Victories and Fan Support
Winning at home always creates a positive atmosphere, but when you are at the top of the league and performing well, it’s crucial to maintain that form when travelling to away games. Notts County have done an excellent job of making Meadow Lane feel more inclusive on match days. Everything about this season seems to be better, from the improved PA system to the overall matchday experience. However, it’s the fans in the stands who are making the biggest difference, providing support for their team.

Notts County a tough test for MK Dons, says manager Graham Alexander
It’s going to be interesting to see how we prepare and line up against MK Dons, even with players out. I am aware of their quality, and you don’t reach second place this early without it. Likewise, with Notts, it’s not luck that we are at the top of the table. This and our winning streak need to be protected. I think Notts will be a bit more defensive, but not at the cost of attacking. I just feel that Luke Williams will set Notts up to be patient at the back, with our strong midfield putting in a shift in both areas.

sum how watching notts makes you feel right now
I was going to name something else, but listening to @liampie's choice, I had to put this: it’s like Christmas with Notts and I don’t want it to end! Complain that it’s only the 9th month of the year, but it’s here and hopefully will be until the end of the season.

Ian Burchnall moves to Wolves as 1st team coach
As for Ian Burchnall at Wolves, I would assume it was due to his paperwork. He’s quite lucky that he’s been snapped up and hasn’t found himself out of employment for long.

Match Discussion: Game 7 - The Dons (A)
I think we just need to focus on playing positive, forward-passing football against MK Dons. There will be times when we do need to go back, but we should avoid going all the way back where possible. I think they would punish us if we got caught napping while passing the ball to Aiden Stone. They are one of those teams who thrive on teams that make slip-ups or mistakes, so I hope we make it as hard as possible. The likely outcome of a draw stands out to me. I think we will cancel each other out. A win would be nice, but I just don’t see it myself. Both us and them know what to do to keep the score to a minimum and both enjoy having possession of the ball.

“He’s a Warrior”: Head Coach Luke Williams Praises Macaulay Langstaff’s Performance in Notts County’s Win Over Accrington Stanley
Macaulay Langstaff never stops running, not only to get onto chases but also against defenders and the opposition keeper. He’s more than a warrior; he’s just relentless with his pressing. It’s similar to Cedwyn Scott, which is why I think they both work so well together. I am pleased for Langstaff to have the spotlight on him. He’s showing that there are goals for him in League Two, and against Accrington Stanley, I thought he looked fantastic on goal.

Attendances and that "feel good" factor
I like seeing the ground busy; it’s nice to see the Pavis Stand full. I wish we could do it in the Family Stand. The club should look into former season ticket holders and see if there are any who simply can’t afford to attend, then offer them a selection of games to attend for free. The scheme where fans were helping others across the UK was a brilliant sight to see.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
Oh no, not at all. @Chris didn’t say you had said anything like that; I was simply explaining because it has been a while. There is no misunderstanding at all, @super_ram. I may even throw in a special round featuring a general footballer. If I do, I will make that known beforehand.

Guess Who? The Notts County Edition
Points Table: @Fan of Big Tone - 5 @Fozzy - 4 @super_ram - 2 @KB1862 - 1 @liampie - 1 I am sorry! I forgot all about this. Don’t worry, I will make sure to post two timely rounds per week. The Gaffer told me that @super_ram has asked about it. I didn’t give up on it; I just became busy with work and the start of the season. As I said, I will post two rounds per week. I encourage all members to try to take part. I will post a new round tomorrow, along with the second on Thursday if the first is guessed correctly, of course. The table is updated now.

Notts County Secures Top Spot in League Two with 3-1 Win Over Accrington Stanley
The game was very entertaining. A neutral would be content with both teams’ performances, but I think Accrington Stanley fans would have hoped they could have tested Aidan Stone a lot more than they did. They are a good team and work well for each other, and Stone did make some superb saves. Yet, with two or three chances, they should have punished us. For example, when Stone kicked the ball straight to their player, who went clean through and ended up striking the ball towards Stone instead of one of the corners. I thought we were classy, dominant, and calm. The second half was a much better showing from us; we did very little wrong, and David McGoldrick worked well to bring in Macaulay Langstaff. Also, Dan Crowley placed pinpoint passes that went through Stanley’s defence with very narrow space for perfection, yet he made them look simple. Fantastic win! We are top of the league!! ????

are we as fans guilty of being too critical at times?
I try to balance criticism with positives. I always try to see the brighter side of situations, and although that can be hard, I feel it’s something I do well. I can perhaps be a little critical, but I would never let it cost my enjoyment. We have had our ups and downs, mostly downs, and it’s nice to have a club that is trying to move forward in the right way. I do think we have some massive idiots on social media, people who take joy in picking at the players and moaning. They’re extremely critical, but I don’t focus any energy or time on them.

Faces of PON 23-24: Accrington Stanley (H)
This is brilliant to see, @Chris. I am also glad to see you taking the pictures. I noticed you going up the top half of the Kop. Thankfully, you didn’t see where I was sitting, but I do like going through the gallery. It’s great to see the faces of PON. Keep going, mate.

Notts County Secures Third Win in a Row with 3-1 Victory Over Accrington Stanley
A very good victory and performance against a decent Accrington Stanley team, you can tell they are a good side. They played well going forward, as their statistics show, and could have easily controlled the game after equalising. The warning signs were creeping in almost as soon as we scored. We played very well in the second half, more determined and better in control. Langstaff getting yet another brace is great to see, our team pulled off a good victory today.

Match Discussion: Game 6 - The 'Owd Reds (H)
I want Notts to go into the game and prove themselves. I don’t think Accrington Stanley should be a team we fear, especially at home. A good performance and result will be another bonus, especially after the opening game. I am hoping that Macaulay Langstaff can find the net, but as long as someone else scores for us, it will be all good.

Connell Rawlinson's Instincts Propel Notts County to Victory
It was a moment of pure excellence when Connell Rawlinson struck the ball into the back of the net. Notts had been putting pressure on Tranmere, but the second goal seemed to be eluding us. I also felt very happy for Connell. He’s a brilliant squad player, and if you take on board everything he says, you can see more of what he brings to Notts.

Talking Tactics: Notts County vs. Tranmere Rovers
Whatever the team has been practising in training, it evidently paid off as the squad had the best start to a game so far this season. I concur entirely with @TheSkipper’s analysis. It was a highly entertaining match, although the referee did overlook some crucial moments. This was true for both teams, but he seemed a bit more lenient with Tranmere. I believe they should have received a yellow card for the early challenge, which was quite shocking. The player also clearly voiced his disagreement, but regardless, Notts won. Aaron Namane’s footwork is faster than most players. He is truly effective when crossing.

Fantastic collection of fan photos, boss! There are so many splendid images of the supporters thoroughly enjoying their match day. Keep up the sterling work.

Connell Rawlinson's Heroics Secure Victory for Notts County over Tranmere Rovers
Connell Rawlinson truly found himself in an optimal position to score, and when he did, the KOP erupted in a thunderous cheer of joy. I believe he performed quite well. Despite some people suggesting that he’s not a footballer who passes, he executed some impressive passes yesterday. The majority of his actions were indeed positive. He dons his shirt with pride, and I am thrilled to see him experience such a moment. These moments don’t come around often, so I am genuinely pleased for Connell.

Behind the Win over Tranmere Rovers: Luke Williams on Notts County’s Resilience and Growth
Luke Williams is truly exceptional. While some are criticising his decision to make five changes, it’s important to remember that it was due to an unforeseen accident. This is similar to last season when we found ourselves without a goalkeeper due to limited substitution spaces. Mark Stallard’s perspective is worth considering; he suggests a rethink rather than mere complaints. It’s a discussion worth having. However, if Williams believes that we are not at risk of games turning against us due to potential late injuries without a substitution option, then that’s his decision. The team put on an excellent display and I sincerely hope that Cedwyn Scott is alright. His effort is evident and it would be wonderful to see him rewarded on the pitch for his positive attitude.

Artistry at the San Sirrel
The painting is appealing, although it’s somewhat challenging to distinguish the players on the pitch, and the details within them aren’t as prominent as those of the spectators. However, I understand that this might be intentional so as not to detract from the stands or the pitch.
