Chelsea v Notts 1975
Chelsea fans were not very friendly during the game; they made it very unwelcoming, which was often the case with a London club like them. The Notts players tried their best. I remember that before they scored, we almost did, but once again, the fact that Chelsea were at home and more established made it much harder for Notts.

PL Financial Fair Play Rules.
Manchester City is only a large club because of their owner; they were never as strong as they are now. The Premier League should begin to consider the Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules for all clubs, so that the league is fairer. It's okay to penalise the smaller ones, but only if the current larger clubs are treated similarly.

A Stuart Maynard Notts Team? A Tactical Analysis.
@Robbie That's a very fair point! I hope Stuart Maynard can get our defence to run through brick walls for him and to make sure the keepers are better protected. Reducing the amount of chances teams get one on one would be a massive start.

UK Weather Watch.
Are there any weather updates for Texas? ???? I don't miss this wet weather or wind you guys are getting, stay safe!

James Sanderson
He made his debut as a scholar/youth player? That's brave! A team could have easily come in and pinched him for less than a professional deal would bring. I am impressed by how he's handling the pressure on his head, which I hope earns him more game time. He looks like a real young talent.

Notts County Women v Sutton Coldfield
I'd say it's a good draw, with them being higher in the league. It could have been a good chance to get closer though, hopefully the recent changes can help them pick up. Thanks for the updates @Robbie! Very important for me.

Exercising
I'm doing very gentle exercise due to my heart issues, but I am having more walks unaided now. I won't be jogging anywhere, unless I want to visit a hospital, but I am getting back to being active. The best thing is being able to enjoy the land I own. I can walk to a stream on the edge of my property and just sit watching the wildlife. It's one thing I don't miss about the UK.

Notts County Financial A/c's year ended 30/6/23 at Companies House
I'm curious about the next release of the financial year, how life in League Two will be compared to the National League. It's good we have owners who are focused on making the club bigger, as the increased gate receipts will help, no doubt.

A Stuart Maynard Notts Team? A Tactical Analysis.
It will be good if Stuart Maynard can rein in the defensive mistakes, but if his playing style is too similar, it might not be tactical changes we need but new defensive-minded centre backs. I'm sure he will be able to coach it out of the players eventually. The main thing is to build on our foundation and hopefully secure the playoffs.

Notts County Women Info & News
It's good to see the club working on building a women's team from the ground up. Hollie Fowler being one of our own seems to be a great choice as captain.

Maynard’s plans for the week ahead
It will benefit Stuart Maynard to spend more time training with the squad; it will give him a better understanding, and I am pleased it's not turned out to be a day off. Repeat in the week, hopefully he will be able to make suggestions on where he would like to see improvements with any potential new signings.

FGR sack Troy Deeney
He's done an interview online, I saw a clip of it where he was laughing and talking about how he felt used. I don't know the full story, but he seems less clued in than someone should be if they want to be a manager.

Nuneaton Borough to fold
It's not nice to learn about a club folding. I'm sure they put up a good fight, but ultimately it's happened. It's a shame.

Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Hatters (H)
If the game goes ahead, it will be good to watch. Obviously, I won't be able to make an impact on the atmosphere, but I want to hear you all cheering the lads on. Stockport should bring a good crowd with them, so I expect a good game from both teams.
-
Maynard it is
That's a good appointment, I'd say. I think having Stuart Maynard linked so early is a positive sign. It shows that we recruited someone we wanted and didn't have to settle for other candidates. I hope he stays at the club for several seasons; losing managers is becoming as bad as when the club sacked them! ????♂️????

New appointments for Notts County Women & Girls.
Yes, it seems like a good appointment by the women's team. I wish them well with their season and hope to see them in the WSL.
-
Where are they now : Jayden Richardson
I wish him good luck; he should get game time at Colchester, and ideally, he will settle for a season or two before moving on.
-
Puskas winner
Wow, what a fantastic goal! Goals like that aren't scored very often.
-
Match in doubt?
I hope the game can be played safely, and I am looking forward to it. The rain might help, as long as it's not too severe. I have faith in the groundsmen and the club.

Notts County Women Info & News
It's good that the club has started a proper women's team, instead of the renamed Lincoln team with high costs and little income compared to when it's done right.
-
Sheffield Ladies v Notts C Women
Unlucky for them, losing 1-0 is nothing to be disheartened by, and hopefully the strong group of women we have will see them bounce back. Where are they in the league?
-
Scott Robertson Raring To Go
It will be interesting to see how he develops and what kind of impact he will have. It's good he's ready to play. I wouldn't expect anything different from a new signing, and it's not as if he's going to openly say he's come to warm the bench or play when needed.
-
Cedwyn Scott On The Comeback Trail
He's a significant presence in the team. When he plays, he does all the things you would expect from a more experienced player. I think his absence has also been similar to that of Matt Palmer, because of how quietly he goes about doing all the right things. His return will be a big deal for the club. Some players do much more than you see, and when they're injured, you notice it more easily.
