One for the older supporters
How young does Mick Jones look? He stands out as rather dashing and handsome. It’s a shame he left this world last year. The squad and photo are amazing to see, though. The hairstyles may have dated, but their class never will.

Luke Williams Shares Insights on Notts County’s Victory Over Doncaster Rovers
I would say that it’s about scoring as early as possible, as it forces teams to either attack or defend more, which usually leaves space. The fact that Luke Williams has highlighted that Doncaster wanted to pack the defenders and that the goal made all the difference shows just how important it is for Notts to work on finding the net.

Macaulay Langstaff Praises Fans and Teammates in Post-Match Interview
He took his goals well against Doncaster, and it’s pleasing to see just how much it means to him. His smile certainly grew bigger with each goal, and the fact that he’s not dwelling on the fact that he went three games without scoring is a positive too. He understands that it’s all about chances and that the perfect opportunities will come. Now that he has found the net, hopefully Langstaff will go on to score plenty more, but no pressure Macaulay!

Match Discussion: Game 4 - Rovers (A)
I'm uncertain about what to anticipate from Doncaster; I've been watching teams' highlights on YouTube. The EFL appears to favor Notts and Wrexham on their League Two channel. I usually check the scores after games and choose to watch the ones that catch my interest. Doncaster's initial struggles provide added motivation to secure a victory. From what I've observed, they don't seem to be performing poorly enough to remain in that position for long. The upcoming match could pose challenges for Notts; however, it's crucial to win, especially with only 4 points from 3 games.

Julie Henshaw: Notts County Love Passed Down Through Generations
Julie's story is beautifully interwoven with passion, tradition, and an unwavering loyalty towards Notts. The way her family has passed down their love for the team through generations is simply amazing. This truly embodies the spirit of being a Magpie!

Notts County manager Luke Williams makes three changes to starting line-up in goalless draw against Morecambe
While it wasn't the victory we all wanted, I can't fault the lads' give-it-all spirit. Luke Williams accurately pointed out that our concentration was a bit shaky. However, 'Rome wasn't built in a day,' and neither is a strong, cohesive football team. The errors we saw are fixable, requiring persistence and steady hard work. I look forward to seeing the team refine its precision and timing.

Match Discussion: Game 1 - The Us (A)
I would advise the players to go out, enjoy their football, and focus on pressing to win the ball back as quickly as possible. I'm certain Luke Williams will have set them up and communicated his vision for their playing style. If we can secure a win in the upcoming game, it would be a great advantage for the home game, as the pressure to get that first win would be lifted. I expect the match to be very open, and my score prediction would be 3-1 in favor of Notts.

Captain Kyle Cameron Discusses Notts County’s Training Regime
It's good to read that the training has been of high importance, and Kyle Cameron believes it will give the club some edge over others. The players do need to work hard but also enjoy their football, so hopefully chances will be taken, and the squad enjoys having a go at achieving something positive.

Notts County Captain Kyle Cameron Aims for Top Three in League Two
The drive and preparation being put into our training is a testament to our ambitions for the upcoming season. Kyle Cameron's confidence in their efforts is heartening. The increased intensity of our training should be directly reflected in the vigour we bring to our League Two matches. All this hard work should definitely assist in targeting a top-three finish this season.

Notts County Ready for League Two: Manager Luke Williams Shares Insights
Remembering last season, it's evident that a deep block situation did arise quite often. If we can tactically outsmart such strategies, I reckon we can maintain control over games. Williams seems aware of this, and it's now down to how well we execute on the pitch.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Reds (A)
I am reading that the final score in the Alfreton game was 5-0. Macaulay Langstaff found the net three times, which is very positive news. Please do share your thoughts; I would love to see more opinions from fans who attended and in general.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Pilgrims (A)
Boston sounded like a very good test. It deserves credit to shut out a team that plays good football, and it says a lot about both teams. Winning 1-0 isn’t a bad thing at all. The fact that we managed to score is the positive part, along with the relentless pushing for the scoring opportunity. It could have easily led to frustration and a lapse in concentration, resulting in them having fewer chances on goal but claiming the win.

What Are You Currently Listening to, Album and Single-wise?
No albums currently. I am listening to this due to the fact the cancel culture are saying it's racist. It a very good song by Jason Aldean, that mentions nothing to do with any race.

Notts County’s dominant performance rewarded with victory over Boston United
Knowing that Notts were in possession throughout the game is a good thing. The important thing to take away is that they didn’t give up or allow frustrations to get the better of them. Winning 1-0 isn’t a bad thing; it sounded like Notts played very well and just needed a bit more luck on goal.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams Discusses Player Injuries and Pre-Season Training
Williams’ response to the injuries is positive. I think at this stage, the minor concerns are normal and should be fine within a few games into the season. Having a settled squad with backup options for depth is useful. For me, seeing all the responses except the above is useful. I appreciate the club approaching the injuries openly, as it stops talk of it being more serious or other nonsense.

Notts County Manager Luke Williams Praises Team's Performance in Pre-Season Friendly
The team seems to be developing nicely with the new signings. It’s a positive sign, and fans should realise that it will take further time for things to be perfected between the players. The signings this season, I think, go a long way in adding quality to the attacking departments, which should ease the defence.

Match Discussion: PSF - Forest (H)
I hope we can give Forest a run for their money. Obviously, if we lose, we lose. I don’t care, but if we were to win, it would show those plastic fans who don’t appreciate their own club. Much like the 70% who seem to be glory supporters. I’ll make a prediction: 2-1 Notts, with a Langstaff brace.
-
Match Discussion: PSF - The Potters (H)
There’s no need to resort to the stupidity of losing, regardless of the manner. I think those vocal fans have let down the whole club and community. That said, there are some interesting and very decent comments. Frustration should never lead to anger, though.

Southend Utd survive High Court hearing
It would be good if they managed to survive. What’s happening to clubs is awful.
-
Match Discussion: PSF - The Boro (A)
It sounds like we have some promising young talent, but whether Luke Williams will be brave enough to play some of them during the season, only time will tell. With 7 subs, any games where we are a few goals ahead would be the ideal time to throw one or two on just to gain experience.

IFAB Penalty Rule for Goalkeepers
@Fan of Big Tone Some keepers do take things too far, but it’s the same for strikers who perform antics themselves. They should have to do a straight run-up, without stuttering, leaps or jumps. If a keeper can’t move, why should the advantage go solely to the penalty taker? Archie Mair also engaged in some of these dark arts of goalkeeping.

IFAB Penalty Rule for Goalkeepers
I don’t think all the changes are necessary, as some of them are what the card system is for. However, I don’t believe that what the Argentina keeper did in the World Cup final should have been allowed. Trying to put off the opposition by talking to them in an annoying way should have resulted in him being carded. Most of the changes seem to be a result of his antics. I have also read that towels will no longer be able to be used for long throws, which should speed up the game slightly.

Matty Palmer the beating heart of Notts County
Very interesting graphic. Matt Palmer seems to be one of those players who covers a lot of ground while performing at a very high standard. The way he covers so many blades of grass shows part of the quality he possesses. It would be interesting to compare this to the end of our League Two campaign. Will it be similar or increase?

It’s great to see so many returning members. It seems more and more return between the days I post and even more when I don’t. Nobody should worry about fitting in. Just post great comments and have fun.
