  1. It’s very satisfying to see O’Brien finally score a goal. His remark about it shows his determination, such admirable character!
  2. The team's journey up until this point in the FA Cup has been nothing short of inspirational. Immensely proud of how far we've come. Tonight, we lock horns with Shrewsbury, and I truly believe we have what it takes to secure a win. Keep the momentum going, Notts!
  3. What a cracking match that was! Our Notts County lads really showed what they’re made of, didn’t they? Despite Crawley’s aggressive tactics, our boys didn’t back down. Instead, they stepped up their game, showcasing a strategy full of energy and determination. And let’s not forget those spectacular goals from Jim O’Brien and Junior, absolutely top-notch! You could really feel the team’s enthusiasm and joy, which only added to the delight of the win. All in all, it was a brilliant display of football. Well done, lads!
  4. A footballer's career trajectory rarely follows a straightforward path. Jodi Jones and his remarkable journey to playing at Wembley twice in six months is a story filled with resilience, determination, and immense talent. Prior to his arrival at Notts County, Jones faced significant challenges, including a major injury. But with staunch support from friends and family, he managed to overcome this and other obstacles. His journey serves as a testament to what can be achieved when one chooses to never give up. Jones' experience, camaraderie with fellow players, and his connection with fans make him a true gem at Notts. As he continues to develop, we all can't wait for the next stage of his fascinating journey.
  5. The tale of two novembers indeed! How associate 15th November with these monumental moments in our club's history. It's nice to see players taking the stand and making a difference, like Lawton did when he advocated for better pay back in his day. Showing us his integrity along with his outstanding football skills. And then there's Carroll, playing for his club on no sleep, straight after representing his nation. Such dedication is seldom seen and it fills me with respect and admiration for these players.
  6. Every milestone match holds a special place in the hearts of the fans and players alike. As we march towards our 5000th game, it's an emotional moment to revel in our history and look forward to our future. May the 5000th match be a crowning glory in our illustrious course.
  7. Hello, welcome to PON. @Morten Johansen have fun.
  8. It wasn't our day, but a sense of reality can go along way towards making you stronger. Look at Sutton, hopefully this will repeat what happened after.
  9. The strategic substitutions proved crucial for the victory. Williams' decisions were spot-on, changing the pace of the game at just the right time. It’s credit to Notts' resolve and tactical brilliance.
  10. Forest Green might be the underdogs, but Notts have the chance to control the game. They need to stay calm, set the game’s pace, and create lots of chances. This will keep Forest Green on the defensive. Every Notts player needs to give their all. They should stay alert, focused, and ready to take every chance. With determination and the right mindset, Notts can do well. Football is a mental and physical game. Notts need to trust their skills and play confidently. This can help them control the game and maybe even win. Let’s support Notts as they give their best on the pitch. With the crowd cheering them on, they can achieve great things. Come on, Notts!
  11. The comments from Crowley really drive home how much of an impact philosophy can have on a team's performance. It's not just about individual skill or natural talent, but how well a team can come together to maintain a resilient mindset and a commitment to hard work. These features are indispensable to any successful sports team. Well done, Notts!
  12. I’m unsure if there’s a hint of irony in the comment, as I find it hard to take it seriously. Otherwise, I’d suggest it was penned in a fit of pique because the author felt Notts were obliged to win the match. Football doesn’t operate like that, and I’m certain Luke Williams doesn’t despise cup competitions. If that belief is held, it’s simply a nonsensical viewpoint.
  13. Watching Kyle Cameron improve over the matches, along with the team has been inspiring. His goal was a sign of his exceptional skill and was instrumental in bringing Notts towards the top. The road is difficult, but with players like him on our side, reaching the top isn't far from possible. He is setting an example for ambitious players aiming to make their mark. Keep rising, Kyle, the Notts County family is behind you.
  14. The painting is lovely, and it’s great to see Meadow Lane featured in his gallery. The club certainly made the right decision in allowing him to do so.
  15. Crowley’s openness about his time at Notts County is encouraging. His genuine enthusiasm for his teammates and the club’s atmosphere highlights their unity and ambition. Success in football hinges on team rapport, and Crowley’s respect for his teammates embodies this. His recognition of individual players’ contributions to his performance provides insight into the team’s dynamics. It underscores the importance of individual talent and collaboration within the team - a proven recipe for success. The club’s future looks promising, as it values teamwork over individualism.
  16. The attendances at Meadow Lane have been impressive. I like what the club does for match days. Everything seems much more packaged, and long gone are the days of fans complaining about half-time being boring. Good effort overall; it deserves to be rewarded with higher gates.
  17. MK Dons looked vulnerable in the second half, and Notts did plenty to win the game. They had a few chances that could have turned the tables on us, but overall, I don’t think anyone can complain about the draw without acknowledging that it was a fair result. I don’t think either team did enough to win despite Notts performing better overall in the 90 minutes. We should accept the draw and then hopefully go back to winning.
  18. Despite their injuries, MK Dons still have the potential to bounce back. But we Notts fans know that our team is more than capable of putting their resilience to the test. It’s going to be exciting to see how our boys, the Coins, handle the opposition’s attempts at redemption and what tactics Notts will use to keep our top spot. As we build up to the match, watching these two contrasting styles of play go head-to-head is going to be a real treat for all of us.
  19. Luke’s wise words on staying focused and not getting carried away, despite being top of the league, is worth commending. This approach will prove vital in maintaining the squad's momentum.
  20. Ian Burchnall should fare better within the English game. It was strange seeing him pitch-side with Anderlecht in some of their televised games.
  21. MK Dons will likely feel the same as us, that it will be a challenging game. I have read that they have three players on international duty. I cannot confirm if this is true as I do not know much about them, but if it is, then fair play to them for not requesting for the game to be rearranged. This demonstrates a level of commitment to the league, their fans, and their desire to perform well. I would imagine that their decision may have been different if their form was poorer or if they had more players out. Nevertheless, their decision still deserves recognition. Hopefully, Notts will perform well.
  22. With Cedwyn Scott out, we may finally see what Junior Morias has to offer. I don’t expect many changes to the starting 11. Luke Williams should be encouraged by last Saturday’s performance and, where possible, avoid making changes. Tactically, Notts should be in a strong position because Accrington Stanley likes to have the ball themselves. Hopefully, Notts will enjoy the majority of it.
  23. Connell Rawlinson - talks the talk, walks the walk. More power to him.
  24. A draw would be a good result after the two recent defeats but getting back to winning ways would be a good boost for the Notts camp.
