  1. Crowley’s openness about his time at Notts County is encouraging. His genuine enthusiasm for his teammates and the club’s atmosphere highlights their unity and ambition. Success in football hinges on team rapport, and Crowley’s respect for his teammates embodies this. His recognition of individual players’ contributions to his performance provides insight into the team’s dynamics. It underscores the importance of individual talent and collaboration within the team - a proven recipe for success. The club’s future looks promising, as it values teamwork over individualism.
  2. The attendances at Meadow Lane have been impressive. I like what the club does for match days. Everything seems much more packaged, and long gone are the days of fans complaining about half-time being boring. Good effort overall; it deserves to be rewarded with higher gates.
  3. MK Dons looked vulnerable in the second half, and Notts did plenty to win the game. They had a few chances that could have turned the tables on us, but overall, I don’t think anyone can complain about the draw without acknowledging that it was a fair result. I don’t think either team did enough to win despite Notts performing better overall in the 90 minutes. We should accept the draw and then hopefully go back to winning.
  4. Despite their injuries, MK Dons still have the potential to bounce back. But we Notts fans know that our team is more than capable of putting their resilience to the test. It’s going to be exciting to see how our boys, the Coins, handle the opposition’s attempts at redemption and what tactics Notts will use to keep our top spot. As we build up to the match, watching these two contrasting styles of play go head-to-head is going to be a real treat for all of us.
  5. Luke’s wise words on staying focused and not getting carried away, despite being top of the league, is worth commending. This approach will prove vital in maintaining the squad's momentum.
  6. Ian Burchnall should fare better within the English game. It was strange seeing him pitch-side with Anderlecht in some of their televised games.
  7. MK Dons will likely feel the same as us, that it will be a challenging game. I have read that they have three players on international duty. I cannot confirm if this is true as I do not know much about them, but if it is, then fair play to them for not requesting for the game to be rearranged. This demonstrates a level of commitment to the league, their fans, and their desire to perform well. I would imagine that their decision may have been different if their form was poorer or if they had more players out. Nevertheless, their decision still deserves recognition. Hopefully, Notts will perform well.
  8. Hello, @Corinthian88. Stick around and we'll make Notts your 2nd club or at least 2nd English club. Welcome to the community!
  9. With Cedwyn Scott out, we may finally see what Junior Morias has to offer. I don’t expect many changes to the starting 11. Luke Williams should be encouraged by last Saturday’s performance and, where possible, avoid making changes. Tactically, Notts should be in a strong position because Accrington Stanley likes to have the ball themselves. Hopefully, Notts will enjoy the majority of it.
  10. Connell Rawlinson - talks the talk, walks the walk. More power to him.
  11. A draw would be a good result after the two recent defeats but getting back to winning ways would be a good boost for the Notts camp.
  12. I would want Notts avoiding thinking this would be an easy 3 pointer because most of the sides would have felt the same about playing us until recently. I think the game has a draw all over it.
  13. The win and performance is more solid than the last two draws, I take nothing away from them but its a solid foundation to build progress from.
  14. Notts have to be sensible and confident going into the game, it's another one of those games that the club should be thinking about how to get three points from. A draw wouldn't seem good enough for me but it's all about progress at this stage.
  15. Stead comes across as a very likeable guy, he's done well this season and he's quickly becoming a club legend. I don't understand why some portions of the fan base get onto his back.
  16. Notts are a shambles this season, they have to go into half time either having pulled one back or preventing a third from going in. Re-grouping may see a spark. I feel the games lost at this stage.
  17. A good performance could lift the players confidence, as would a clean sheet. They will be playing to keep within Kewell's plans tonight.
  18. The result ruined my weekend but it could be worse, just think if we had not secured our safety before.
  19. Audel is not a player I rate but under Cooper he has come into his own, performances by him are much better and consistent. Perhaps confidence is all him and the squad need to succeed?
  20. Gutted to be reading that we lost the lead, story of our lives!!
  21. If we do win all will be forgotten!!
  22. The support shown by fans deserved a far better response in terms of the players performance. It was woeful, yet I won't say it was all down to nerves or the occasion but we simply got out classed. Bad decision to think we could fool Mansfield.

The FA and League Cup are useful for pay days, the JPT offers nothing.

They beat Brentford? That must have been their cup day. This will probably end up a draw in my opinion.
