FA Cup Anticipation: Notts County Gears Up for a Pivotal Fixture against Shrewsbury Town
The team's journey up until this point in the FA Cup has been nothing short of inspirational. Immensely proud of how far we've come. Tonight, we lock horns with Shrewsbury, and I truly believe we have what it takes to secure a win. Keep the momentum going, Notts!

Barnsley's 91st minute goal
It was a silly goal to concede, amusing but I agree that the officials should have awarded a foul. They could have even booked the Barnsley player. All goalkeepers take their time once the ball is in play. Many also do the routine of rolling the ball out and then picking it up again. There’s no rule against it, it’s just clever time-wasting, but in this case, it got a bit ridiculous.

Match Discussion: FA Cup 2nd Round - Shrewsbury (H)
I won’t be there in person, but I’ll be tuning in via the radio, as long as I can get a signal. I’m hopeful that Notts can progress to the 3rd round without needing a replay. We could do without another match, but the financial boost from a good cup run would be welcome. The next round could heat up if Notts plays their cards right. Shrewsbury will be a tough opponent, but having played them twice already, once in a friendly, we must have picked up some insights.

Luke Williams on Notts County’s Win: ‘Energy and Aggression Were Back’
What a cracking match that was! Our Notts County lads really showed what they’re made of, didn’t they? Despite Crawley’s aggressive tactics, our boys didn’t back down. Instead, they stepped up their game, showcasing a strategy full of energy and determination. And let’s not forget those spectacular goals from Jim O’Brien and Junior, absolutely top-notch! You could really feel the team’s enthusiasm and joy, which only added to the delight of the win. All in all, it was a brilliant display of football. Well done, lads!

A footballer's career trajectory rarely follows a straightforward path. Jodi Jones and his remarkable journey to playing at Wembley twice in six months is a story filled with resilience, determination, and immense talent. Prior to his arrival at Notts County, Jones faced significant challenges, including a major injury. But with staunch support from friends and family, he managed to overcome this and other obstacles. His journey serves as a testament to what can be achieved when one chooses to never give up. Jones' experience, camaraderie with fellow players, and his connection with fans make him a true gem at Notts. Notts County: A Tale of Two Novembers
The tale of two novembers indeed! How associate 15th November with these monumental moments in our club's history. It's nice to see players taking the stand and making a difference, like Lawton did when he advocated for better pay back in his day. Showing us his integrity along with his outstanding football skills. And then there's Carroll, playing for his club on no sleep, straight after representing his nation. Such dedication is seldom seen and it fills me with respect and admiration for these players.

Oxford Utd : Craig Short interim head coach
Wishing Craig Short all the best as he steps in to guide Oxford United. The role he's stepping into is a big mantle to take on, particularly with recent developments. While scepticism may surround this appointment due to past hiccups, it's important to remember that everyone deserves a chance at redemption. Here's to hoping Short can deliver.

The strategic substitutions proved crucial for the victory. Williams' decisions were spot-on, changing the pace of the game at just the right time. It’s credit to Notts' resolve and tactical brilliance.

Match Discussion: Game 9 - The Green (H)
Forest Green might be the underdogs, but Notts have the chance to control the game. They need to stay calm, set the game’s pace, and create lots of chances. This will keep Forest Green on the defensive. Every Notts player needs to give their all. They should stay alert, focused, and ready to take every chance. With determination and the right mindset, Notts can do well. Football is a mental and physical game. Notts need to trust their skills and play confidently. This can help them control the game and maybe even win. Let’s support Notts as they give their best on the pitch. With the crowd cheering them on, they can achieve great things. Come on, Notts!

Dan Crowley on the Rigorous Preparation that Fuels Notts County’s Performances
The comments from Crowley really drive home how much of an impact philosophy can have on a team's performance. It's not just about individual skill or natural talent, but how well a team can come together to maintain a resilient mindset and a commitment to hard work. These features are indispensable to any successful sports team. Well done, Notts!

Fact of the day : Cup competitions
I’m unsure if there’s a hint of irony in the comment, as I find it hard to take it seriously. Otherwise, I’d suggest it was penned in a fit of pique because the author felt Notts were obliged to win the match. Football doesn’t operate like that, and I’m certain Luke Williams doesn’t despise cup competitions. If that belief is held, it’s simply a nonsensical viewpoint.

'Mum and Dad Probably Have It Recorded’: Kyle Cameron on Watching His Equalising Goal against MK Dons
Watching Kyle Cameron improve over the matches, along with the team has been inspiring. His goal was a sign of his exceptional skill and was instrumental in bringing Notts towards the top. The road is difficult, but with players like him on our side, reaching the top isn't far from possible. He is setting an example for ambitious players aiming to make their mark. Keep rising, Kyle, the Notts County family is behind you.

Artistry at the San Sirrel
The painting is lovely, and it’s great to see Meadow Lane featured in his gallery. The club certainly made the right decision in allowing him to do so.
