Stuart Maynard Praises Defensive Display as Notts County Draw with Tranmere
Itβs a start the team can build on. Quite frustrating that we couldnβt get a win, but it wasnβt through a lack of effort or trying. Tranmere just made it hard, but Bass was excellent in goal.

Tranmere Rovers 0-0 Notts County: Magpies Dominate Possession but Settle for a Point at Prenton Park
Quite frustrating, but the team showed promise. Bass was brilliant in goal.

Where are they now : Balint Bajner
I never rated him highly. I thought he was decent enough, but he wasnβt the quickest and always seemed to want the ball delivered straight to him. People criticised Yoann Arquin for this reason, but Balint Bajner was far more lackadaisical.

The Nest/Fan Zone: Update.
The Nest is fantastic. Itβs going to be a significant source of revenue for Notts. I believe it can only bring good things.

Where are they now : Kane Hemmings
Kane Hemmings would have certainly benefited from being in a squad like ours now. I have no doubt that he would have been clinical. Heβs such a strong player at this level, Crewe should be thrilled with the signing.

Macca to Millwall?
Notts have the upper hand, as others have pointed out, bids donβt mean much. If the club knows thereβs interest, they can safeguard their asset by fostering competition to sell to the highest bidder. That being said, Iβm not entirely convinced that Millwall would splurge such a large sum on a single player. The reported amount might not be entirely accurate, who can say?

Itβs heartening to see the players back. Theyβve hopefully had a restful break and are ready for the new season.

New OS site
It looks splendid, and I have no objections. With all the new shiny things, one might wonder if weβre bracing for some unpleasant news. But no, I donβt believe so.

Alex Bass Signs Three-Year Deal: A Major Coup for Meadow Lane
Thrilled about Alex Bass signing! His stellar performance and leadership at AFC Wimbledon speak volumes. With Platt and Bedeau, our defence is solid. Hereβs to a season of strong defence and triumphs with Bass!

Incoming, new goalkeeper
I canβt contain my excitement about Alex Bass joining us. Having watched him play for AFC Wimbledon, I can say weβre getting a top-notch goalkeeper. His clean sheet record alone is incredibly impressive, but itβs his leadership at the back that will make a huge difference. With Platt and Bedeau also joining, our defence is shaping up nicely. Iβve got high hopes for the upcoming season with Bass as our last line of defence. Hereβs to fewer defensive struggles and more victories!

Stuart Maynard Anticipates Notts County Debut After Unforeseen Setback
Transitioning into the full-time scene has its challenges, but Maynard's approach and the teamsβ verve heβs fostering bodes well for us. What struck me most about his words was the attention to both attack and a solid defence. It's a holistic brand of football weβre looking at. Teams wonβt know what hit them!

Notts County Welcomes New Talent: Defender Jaden Warner
Fantastic to hear about Jaden Warner joining us on loan. Reading through his credentials, I am particularly impressed by his experience in the Canariesβ academy, which speaks volumes about his grounding in the sport. Not to mention those starts in the Sky Bet Championship! Having a player who is comfortable with the ball and can contribute to the defence as well as the build-up play is quite a catch for us. Itβs clear the club is making strategic decisions to strengthen the squad, and with Warner standing at 6 foot 4 inch plus his exceptional speed, Iβve got a good feeling heβs going to fit in just fine. The backline sure is looking tougher by the day!

Pop Charts, Xmas Number 1
Yes, I spotted this during a programme exploring the first two Home Alone films on Sky Max HD. Itβs one of the superior Christmas tunes, so thankfully itβs not any of this trendy modern music.

Highlights : Harrogate v Notts
The sad part is, our defence has been poorer on many occasions this season. Hats off to Harrogate for their impressive play.

Match Discussion: Game 23 - The Hatters (A)
Iβm rather pleased with the team selection, especially with the return of Kyle Cameron and David McGoldrick. My only worry is our defence, which seems a bit weak. We donβt have many attacking options if we need fresh ideas or if an offensive player gets weary. However, this could give James Sanderson another chance.

FA Cup Anticipation: Notts County Gears Up for a Pivotal Fixture against Shrewsbury Town
The team's journey up until this point in the FA Cup has been nothing short of inspirational. Immensely proud of how far we've come. Tonight, we lock horns with Shrewsbury, and I truly believe we have what it takes to secure a win. Keep the momentum going, Notts!

Barnsley's 91st minute goal
It was a silly goal to concede, amusing but I agree that the officials should have awarded a foul. They could have even booked the Barnsley player. All goalkeepers take their time once the ball is in play. Many also do the routine of rolling the ball out and then picking it up again. Thereβs no rule against it, itβs just clever time-wasting, but in this case, it got a bit ridiculous.
