  1. Stead-fastness called for Always prefer my shrimps potted
  2. Eddie Hoofball preferable to Hewitt. Pity Luther has gone out on loan, this could have been his chance
  3. http://www.thesackrace.com/news/26th-september-2016/leyton-orient-sack-andy-hessenthaler Orient manager gone. Come on Jamie, please apply
  4. will it be Audel in for Laing on Tuesday? I would still replace Rodman with Stanley
  5. @Anti-Red as you hinted, the first half needed improvement. Orient had 2 good chances to score in the first half and I still feel our defence at times is liable to self destruct. The vast improvement in the second half, gives cause for optimism, the emergence of Richards is a real plus. I am slightly concerned that Stanley has been sidelined as at times we do need some craft and Stanley offers the best dead ball delivery.

  7. I don't know who you could mean ..... we may have it but he (aka Stanley) is just sat on the bench in recent matches
  8. I am hoping the emergence of Richards will mean the end of Smudge's place. I would hope Stanley would return to the team as despite the win at Cheltenham, creativity was lacking.
  9. http://www.gloucestershirelive.co.uk/cheltenham-town-2-notts-county-3-defensive-horror-show-sees-robins-beaten-by-notts-county/story-29725325-detail/story.html
  10. One aspect of our play was the amount of times in the second half there was no player on the edge of the Accrington D of penalty area. Alan Smith taught Noble to delay his runs,,,, we had no one ever close to this space today
  11. http://www.codalmighty.com/site/ca.php?article=5968 Campbell described as "someone we barely knew existed" when he was sub'd
  12. http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/notts-county/10564117/notts-county-2-2-grimsby
  13. Some words of credit for Grimsby. Thought Bogle was superb and again questions our scouting as to why Brano didnt recommend him ahead of Idle
  14. @Northants Pie Agreed in some ways. Gibson should have be loaned to a Conference side...loaning him too lower down the pyramid isnt going to help his development.
  15. @Northants Pie Yes Gibson for me too
  16. just watched the game on Magpie player. Atkinson seemed to win the ball fairly...Pools #18 and #26 should have both received straight red cards
  17. @Northants Pie Defensive protection foremost but utilising pace of Collins and Campbell to support Stead. There is no stand out partner up front for Stead IMHO
  18. What also will be interesting will be the players who are not on the bench today
  19. JS to play Collin Tootle Laing Duffy Dickinson O'Connor Milsom Collins Aborah Campbell Stead
  20. Hope the 1k gate revenue covered those costs. Perhaps @erindoors can advise if the gate revenue is shared with Hartlepool ( what percentage?)
  21. https://stuartfrew.wordpress.com/2007/09/04/an-afternoon-with-jimmy-sirrel/ Thinking of Pedro as his son makes his full Notts debut tonight
  22. wishing Pedro's son a good game... a full debut, hopefully the start of many
  23. Loach, Audel, Laing, Hollis, Dickinson (c), Rodman, Aborah, Burke, Richards, Campbell, Snijders subs Collin, Hewitt, Smith, Wildin, Edwards, Milsom, Atkinson False number 9 then
  24. Prize money of 10k per win in the Group stages, we need a few of those to make up for the misspend on Idle
  25. I believe it may be defined as 5 players who have played in last Saturday's first team match ( so being starting 11 plus any subs that played)
