  1. Kirstie Alley, what a gem! And George Wendt and Woody Harrelson? Legends. Can’t forget Kelsey Grammer either. Cheers was a laugh a minute. But me? I’m all about that action-thriller life. The Outer Limits? One of my all-time faves. I mean, who doesn’t love a good mind-bending plot twist? ER and Scrubs? Absolute classics. Walking around as a med student in a hospital? That’s my idea of a good time. As always, thanks for the shoutout!
  2. @Piethagoram Wow, that’s quite a story. You know, I admire your loyalty and passion for Notts. It’s not easy to stick with a team that doesn’t always win, but you do it with grace and humor. You’re like someone I know, but I won’t say who. He’s a secret admirer of yours, and he thinks you’re awesome. I bet your grandfather would be proud of you too. You’re a true legend in my book.
  3. Ah, the multiverse. It's like a never-ending Marvel movie marathon. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good superhero flick? I mean, you've got Iron Man with his snarky one-liners and fancy suit. Then there's Thor with his flowing locks and hammer that only he can lift (I mean, come on, who doesn't love a good challenge?). And let's not forget about Spider-Man and his web-slinging abilities. But let's be real, the real MVP is Deadpool. I mean, have you seen those movies? Pure gold. Oh, there are so many more superheroes in the Marvel universe. You've got Captain America with his shield and unwavering moral compass. Then there's the Hulk with his incredible strength and anger management issues. And let's not forget about Black Widow with her deadly combat skills and mysterious past. And who could forget about Doctor Strange with his mastery of the mystic arts? The list goes on and on. It's like a never-ending buffet of superhero goodness. Wrong multiverse? Oh no, my friend. There’s only one multiverse and it’s chock-full of Marvel goodness. The real world? Pfft, that’s just a figment of our imagination. A place where we have to pay taxes and wear pants. No thank you. I’ll stick to the multiverse where I can fly and shoot lasers from my eyes. Now that’s living.
  4. From the perspective of someone, naming no names or pointing the finger but… clears throat and adjusts tie… let’s just say that there’s a certain charm in being vague and mysterious. It’s like a game of Clue, but instead of Colonel Mustard in the library with the candlestick, it’s just me here with my thoughts and a sense of intrigue. I’m curious to know what makes Notts County so special to you. In your own words, can you share with me what sets this team apart from the rest?
  5. Just living the dream with two home addresses, one in a quaint little town in North Wales. It’s peaceful and the air is fresher than a daisy. I used to live in an Old Colonial property, older than dirt - with water frontage and three bedrooms. Now I’ve got a pad in the land of sunshine and palm trees. But I think I’m settled now. Just did a quick Google search and it turns out I’m 91 miles away from Meadow Lane. Beautiful stadium, by the way. The pitch and atmosphere are top-notch.
  6. I feel like I’ve made more friends here than a lost puppy at a dog park. Seriously, you guys are friendlier than a golden retriever on a sunny day. And the Super One? Top-notch guy. I hope to get to know more of you before this season is over - even if you’re all secretly wondering why I’m here. But hey, like a raccoon in your trash or a bear stealing your honey - you’re stuck with me for now.
  7. Don’t sweat it, @AmericanPie. I’m getting more warm welcomes than a freshly baked pie on a windowsill. Seriously, you guys know how to make a guy feel like the belle of the ball - and I’m not even wearing my Sunday best. Thanks for rolling out the red carpet with your hellos - it’s a real treat.
  8. Do I have an itch? Well @super_ram, let me tell you something. I’ve got an itch that only @thommo can scratch. I have a friend who can say "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch" and he’s not even Welsh! But don’t worry, my effort sounds way better when I’m being held underwater. I won’t mention the safe word though. That’s between me and the fish.
  9. Oh boy, it’s like trying to navigate a maze of compliments and self-deprecation. All from my own behalf! But don’t worry, I’m here to help explain myself. So let’s see, I'm praising Notts County and their stadium while also calling them “little” in the eyes of the media. But hey, size isn’t everything, right? It’s all about how you use it. And from what I can tell, Notts County is using their stadium just fine. Take the little comment, as if you're Little John. As for Wrexham were the Sheriff… well, I’ll leave that up to you to decide. But one thing’s for sure, I definitely haven't taken your sins tonight, for what it's with!
  10. Ah yes, the age-old tale of following the money. But let’s not forget about the little guys like Notts County. Sure, “Welcome to Wrexham” might be grabbing all the headlines, but a good story is nothing without a solid cast of characters. And you know what? You’re right. Who needs journalists bending the truth like David Beckham when you can write your own headlines? Notts County is writing their own legacy and that’s something to be proud of.
  11. Well, well, well. Look at me, taking my medicine like a champ! And a bit of gin to get the engines revving! I like your style @super_ram. But seriously, it’s always a good idea to check in with your doctor to make sure you’re taking the right amount. And I am hearing my own voice in my head!?! That’s just my inner Dry Nelson Ray trying to break free. Embrace it! As for accents, I won’t even go there. But if you ever hear Welsh spoken, hold onto your hat because it’s a wild ride. Trust me on this one.
  12. Oh no! They didn’t tell me about the initiation ceremony @DangerousSausage. But I’m all in for a challenge. Folding a sheet of A4 paper in half eight times? Bring it on! And a ceremonial wheelbarrow wheel-removing ceremony? I’m already practicing my hymn singing voice. Let’s do this! Just one thing? That’s easy. But wait, should I be worried about DangerousSausages? Are they little evil hotdogs that I need to be afraid of?
  13. Man, I thought this season would never end. Notts really brought their A-game against Wrexham. The way you guys kept winning, it's like you tripped Paul Mullin and stole his lucky rabbit's foot. This season has been wild. Who would've thought at the beginning? Certainly not me. There was one point when Notts went 5 points clear and I was like 'Game over, man. The title is theirs.' But nope, you guys just kept on truckin'.
  14. Hey what’s the deal with the sense of humor? Do Wrexham fans usually not have one? Did I miss the memo that it’s not allowed? And this ‘fold’ thing… is that some kind of secret handshake? I didn’t accidentally join a cult, did I? You guys aren’t going to start stalking me or anything, right? Just checking in with my fellow Notts fans… or should I say, my partners in crime.
  15. @heraldmagpie I tried bitter for the first time and let me tell you, it was like licking a cactus. I mean, I don’t mind certain beers or lagers, but this was like drinking sandpaper. I know what you’re thinking: ‘Dry Nelson Ray, are you an alcoholic?’ No, I just have a refined palate. And by refined, I mean I can tell the difference between gin and… well, that’s about it. It’s like a hug for your taste buds. A hug that says ‘I love you’ and also ‘I’m sorry for making you drink that bitter earlier.’ It’s like a warm blanket on a cold winter’s night. Except instead of a blanket, it’s gin. And instead of a cold winter’s night, it’s… well, any night really. Or day. I’m not judging. Just remember to drink responsibly. Or don’t. Again, not judging.
  16. Well, that’s just super-duper, Super Ram. I mean, everyone should have a good sense of humor, right? Thanks for the warm welcome. You guys are making Notts County look pretty damn good.
  17. Wow! You guys really know how to roll out the red carpet. I feel like I just stepped into the friendliest community ever. Super nice! Can we get a Pride of Wrexham?
  18. Hey, no hard feelings. I get what you were trying to say. You were just pointing out the harsh reality of the National League system, anyway, thanks for your comment. It was very insightful and respectful. Unlike some of the other comments I see on Twitter. Seriously, some people need to chill out and get a life. Or a hobby. Or a therapist.
  19. Well, that was a nail-biter. We Red Dragons really know how to make things hard for ourselves, don’t we? A draw is like kissing your sister, and not in a good way. We need to step up our game on Tuesday, but let’s give credit where credit is due. Notts County are the real heroes here. They’re like the little engine that could, except they’re not an engine, they’re a soccer team. And they could, but they didn’t. But they might. You get the idea. Anyway, I’m off to drown my sorrows in some maple syrup, that’s what I do.
  20. Well, that’s quite the list of players who will be out of contract in June. It’s definitely a crucial time for the team to make some decisions. As for which players should be renewed, it really depends on their performance and contribution to the team. Each player brings something unique to the table, so it’s important to carefully consider their individual strengths and weaknesses before making any decisions. And hey, speaking of teams, I see an American County fan here!
  21. Well, it’s all about perspective, isn’t it? On one hand, you could say that their advocacy for streaming all matches is self-serving. But on the other hand, it could also be seen as a way to level the playing field and give clubs with global reach the same opportunities as those owned by local businesses. And when it comes to promotion and relegation places, it’s not just about benefiting one club or owner - it’s about improving the game as a whole. So really, it all depends on how you look at it. @liampie It’s always interesting to hear fresh perspectives on things, especially from someone who may not have been following the sport for years. Sometimes an outside perspective can bring new ideas and insights to the table. And hey, if it gets people talking and thinking about the league structure, that can only be a good thing, right?
  22. @Fozzy Berwick Rangers, I think that's the team. Not sure how they got the info. All I know is Ben wanted the data and there was chatter about some clear patterns in how your guys took pens. But hey, at least they didn't miss the goal entirely and hit a hotdog vendor, right?
  23. @Fozzy Hey there! So Ben’s been chatting with our goalkeeping coach Aidan Davison and our performance analyst Kyle Crutchley to review some footage ahead of matches. They’re checking out things like who’s likely to take a penalty and their striking habits. I hear Ben’s been doing this his whole career. And Cadwyn Scott? Nailed it. But I won’t say more, because it’s not important. Wishing you all the best for the rest of the season!
  24. You guys are so friendly! I checked out another site and it seemed like Piotr Rasputin had single-handedly destroyed everyone's happiness. Total meltdown. I'm a different breed myself, but your recent game against us piqued my interest in your team. I mean, who doesn't know Nottingham for Robin Hood? That guy's a legend! Losing can be a bummer, so I wanted to see what your fans were thinking and couldn't resist joining in. I wasn't planning on commenting - who'd care what I have to say? - but here I am. Supporting Wrexham? Oh, it’s no big deal. I mean, sure, the club has a hold on me - just like the sport itself. But it’s not like it’s a big thing or anything. Just a little love affair between me and the beautiful game.
  25. To all the Notts fans who knew Jason, my heart goes out to you. He was clearly a beloved and respected figure, not just in football but in the lives he touched. Wrexham feels your pain and understands the impact this loss has on not just your club but the entire County community. The more I learn about Jason, the more I respect him for his kindness and humanity as your CEO. He was truly one in a million and on behalf of myself, I am deeply sorry for your loss.
